We had a great time in Banlaw Garden Resort. The pool is huge, with a beautiful garden and plenty of space. We loved the food in the restaurant and they serve pizza too! The room we stayed has air conditioning, private bathroom and outdoor kitchen. I would 100% recommend staying here if you want a fully equipped place to stay and only five minutes from Nagtabon beach! Thanks to all the staff for welcoming us so well! :)

My partner and I had a pretty unpleasant experience with this accommodation. A solid handful of the amenities listed in the description were nowhere to be found. The cleanliness was not up to par. The pool was unswimmable with its murky green waters. Their wifi only works within a close range of the front desk and all the rooms are quite far from it. There is also no access to any transportation except at exuberant rates. Very minimal food options all around and no kitchen access. If certain things had been made clear before our arrival/booking we would have had a different outlook. Luckily the other resorts close by were very helpful and helped us get back to town after one night into our 4 night stay. After trying to negotiate a refund because of the blatant omission of facts and overall lack of amenities the owner was having none of it and refused everything. Even to help us get back to the city.

I went to this place to ask the price for one night. The 'hotel' is located in a village in the jungle and you can only get there on a rough road. So that already was a big minus. When I arrived I parked my motorcycle on the grass I went to the reception and asked them to show me 'the room'. They took me in the jungle to a small hut 🛖 with aircon. I looked inside of the little room and just saw the mattress laying on the floor - not elevated nothing - and asked the price. They really answered 1.800 peso. There was also no privacy at all as at the weekends this place is visited by many Filipinos. 2 meters next to you will be the next dark jungle hut 🛖. Yes they have a natural small river and a nice swimming pool. I left. That's all Better get a 4 or 5 star hotel for 1.800 Peso in Puerto.
