Nice few days away at Colina Mar for a spring break. Apartments basic but very nice and clean. Staff excellent. All helpful and chatty. Went all inclusive. Food was good. Not a huge selection every day but what was on offer was very nice. Sunday roast was excellent. In terms of value for money I would have to say very good.

After reading the reviews on this hotel we thought we'd made a mistake. If people want 5 stars pay for it, it's clean and tidy, there's a shop for your essentials not the cheapest but we only bought water,As we were A/I entertainment was okay staff were fine.

Second time we have been here, wife choose to go back so she must of liked it the first time. Smooth check in eventually, didn't get the room we asked for but was given 2 options, we were tired, so I just choose the one near to the one we wanted (wrong choice) went back up to reception gave me the other key went to that apartment perfect ( thank you reception girls) We went bed and breakfast, breakfast was great, rooms need a bit of a tidy up, but everything was there and kept clean by our maid Maria ( Thank you Maria ) Overall we had a great stay, great views from our room number 229, last thing to say is thank you to all the staff that we came in to contact with the made our stay even better and hopefully we will return next year.

This was our first time in the Colina Mar. We've visited Puerto Rico/Amadores many times over the years and stayed in several hotels, as a base this rates as a 4 *. We were self catering and the only facilities we used in the hotel were the shop and pool area. The room we had was clean and sufficient for our needs ( credit were credit is the shower is top notch!) There's plenty storage space and the beds were ok. The hotel location is ideal for the Europa Shopping centre. A taxi to Puerto Rico centre is around 6/7€. Would be return yes.

Another brilliant stay at Colina mar my husband and I absolutely love the hotel from the reception staff cleaners bar persons all are welcoming. We requested a room on the 4th floor and has the last 3 stays we were given room 424 on the floor we asked for so a big thank you to the reception for accommodating us. The rooms are spacious and very clean with everything you need the beds are the comfiest beds we have ever had. We stayed bed and breakfast and we found it to be very good with many choices lovely sausages bacon eggs and everything you would like at breakfast time. The pools are good we preferred the bottom pool both are good. Evening entertainment was varied we watched many artists and played bingo and even won it once the bar was well managed by the staff who we found very welcoming a special mention to John Jo from the bottom pool bar he’s always happy and nothing is to much trouble. We had a fabulous 2 weeks and we can’t wait to return again very soon. So a big thank you to everyone at Colina mar a truly fabulous hotel. Many thanks pat and Mike Chambers’s

Stayed here for my birthday in February and had a good time The staff were very helpful and my room was good The food was ok but not a lot of choice and the dining room was a bit small but you could eat outside. The entertainment was ok but different. The place is on a steep hill but there are lifts to all floors. I would stay there again no doubt

Absolutely disgusting lady manager and customer service. I also was accused of giving food to a person that was not on all inclusive when the whole holiday he bought his own drinks. She stormed over to myself and family demanding we gave her the room number, when we refused and asked what this was for she said we were lying and shouted infront of other customers who were staying at the hotel. I went to the bar that evening and was told this manager had called the police and the police were coming for me the next day over two slices of pizza. I then found out myself and my family would have been kicked out of the hotel, one family member was in her late 70s. This was so terrible with no customer service at all and ruined my holiday. There was no reasoning or polite conversation, just this manager screaming infront of my face!!! Absolutely appalling experience and would NOT recommend . If you want an abusive service, cold food, and bad manners come here they have it in abundance!!!!!! Disgusted.

One week self-catering with Jet2. Hotel exactly as described. Great views. Staff was great. 1 bedroom apartment really good. Very clean indeed and cleaned regularly throughout our stay, fresh towels most days. Shower was great, plenty hot water and high pressure. Kitchen very well equipped. Beds comfortable, no need for AC in February, extra blankets supplied and were very welcome. Wifi in our room was expensive, when I booked I assumed the free wifi was throughout, but I had discovered that wasn't the case before we went. Pools were both great, 1 slightly smaller than the other but both adequate for swimming lengths, both very clean. The only food we had in the hotel was a couple of snacks from the pool bar, both good. On site shop very good for basic groceries, uk teabags and wine. Europa shopping centre just outside hotel complex had a variety of restaurants, some better than others, a very good Chinese, no bad experiences. The only drawback is how steep it is to get down to the beach area. Even walking down was challenging on the pavement or on the steps. There is a Taxi rank outside the hotel but Taxis don't routinely stop there. I think the hotel price fairly reflects this. Entertainment was always enjoyable although sometimes just a bit karaoke like. The Flamenco was very good.
