Elements Beach & Nature Resort

For Anyone Considering a Stay I would like to share my recent experience at Kapiti. The area operates on two seasons: the off-season and the main season. We visited in April, and it seemed quite empty during our stay. The property itself has a lovely view and plenty of space. However, the cleanliness was not up to my expectations; I found lizard droppings in both the room and the bathroom. The swimming pool was quite neglected, filled with algae, so we opted not to use it. As for dining options, the hotel has limited offerings. The Alacarte menu is only available from 1 PM to 3:30 PM, and outside those hours, no meals are served. The only snacks available were french friese, cashews, roasted coconut, and a couple of others. There was no room service, so I had to retrieve everything myself, and the staff wasn't particularly helpful. For dinner, our choices were limited to a basic rice and curry dish with only one seafood option, at a cost of 3,900 per adult. There wasn’t much flexibility in the menu. Additionally, the room lacked air conditioning, making it quite uncomfortable at night. Whenever I raised concerns, the response was that this establishment is designed for foreign guests and aimed at embracing a nature-oriented concept. I would recommend exploring other accommodations if you're considering a stay at this hotel.

After initial blip with the accommodation ( my fault) we were reroomed to a lagoon villa. The villa was spacious with a very comfortable bed and mosquito net and outdoor shower. There was a limited choice of buffet food for breakfast and dinner but all was tasty and freshly prepared. The beach was clean with plenty of umbrellas for shade. All staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a perfect place for a laid back restful holiday. Thank you so much to the owner for re rooming us . It certainly made such a difference to the start of our Sri Lankan holiday.

Our stay at Elements Beach and Nature Resort was truly tremendous! The people were incredibly lovely, making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The location itself is absolutely spectacular—one of the nicest places my other half and I have ever stayed. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, with the serene surroundings providing total tranquility. One of the highlights of our trip was spotting dolphins during our stay, which made the experience even more magical. On top of that, it was ideal for my other half, who could fully enjoy kitesurfing right from the resort. A perfect balance of nature, relaxation, and adventure—highly recommended!

A unique place for families, lovers, surfers... I was delighted and inspired. I will always come back here.Beautiful space, large area, 100% nature, ocean, lagoon, forest, horses, donkeys, beach ... in short everything to feel full of joy. I spent there Christmas 2022 and New Year's Eve 2023.

Beautiful property, welcoming staff and relaxing stay. Stayed in the a frame beach. Sunset was beautiful. There is a small pool., and swimming not advised but some folks swam and it looked fine. Breakfast is huge. Dinner was a buffet. All in all a lovely stay though it was hot and we thanked the wind. Loved the wild donkeys, doggies and cats. If you want to relax with books or kite surf, you would love this place. In April it’s the off season, 33 degrees.

We had a lovely stay in April 2025 as a family of four. We loved the beautiful location and the sustainability aspect of the resort. We stayed in a lagoon house and loved sitting on the jetty in the morning with our coffee, and also watching fireflies and seeing the stars in the evening in the outdoors shower - really magical. The staff were all great - the food was excellent and the team were really helpful booking excursions and taxis for us which made everything really easy. We also really enjoyed the activities - horse riding, paddle boarding and kayaking.
