Qingyuan Shanshui Yunjian Homestay (Huangtengxia Shop)

The room itself looked okay, and the courtyard was spacious, but the amenities were truly awful. The service was abysmal. I arrived after 9 PM, already exhausted. The room was on the second floor, requiring stairs. After finally carrying my belongings up, I discovered the room had no electricity. I called the waiter, who told me the room had also been without electricity for repairs two days prior. If they were working on it, why would they release the room with the problem? The main issue was that the waiter never offered to help with my luggage. There was absolutely no service at all. Even more infuriating was the breakfast the next day: just a small plate of fried noodles, a few steamed buns, white porridge, and a few pickles. I asked the host what we were supposed to eat since there were no vegetables or drinks. With this kind of breakfast, this kind of service, and this kind of room, how could Ctrip give such a high rating? For 720 yuan a night, this is such poor quality. How did they get all those positive reviews? Please be careful. This place is only worth a couple of hundred yuan. Don't be fooled!

The location is relatively remote, there are no other supporting facilities around, the breakfast is poor, there is less interactivity for a B&B, and the design is not careful enough.

The service was very good and enthusiastic. I had a lot of fun with the barbecue. I will come back next time.

We came to Qingyuan from Taiwan for fun. This is our fourth time here. We have stayed in hotels and B&Bs in Qingyuan four times. This time was the best experience for me. The environment of the B&B is very close to nature, and the facilities are very complete. You can play real-life CS shooting, and they also gave us iced tea around the fire. It is also very close to Huangteng Gorge. The room is clean and hygienic. The front desk and the boss are very good and responsive. They basically arranged everything for us. There was a small episode when the power switch tripped, but it did not affect our overall experience. We will come again next time if we have time!
