The location is good, near West Street. However, the toilet is too near the shower, so when taking a bath, the water from the shower goes into the toilet bowl, and the toilet automatically flushes, and water at the shower stops running.

Very near all tourist area. Walkable.
Owner very helpful to arrange taxi to Xiamen at only 200yuan which is cheaper than DiDi.
They even provide free breakfast every morning.

We had a lovely one night stay Very helpful and friendly hosts who live in the adjoining building Location is perfect. In between West Street and Quanzhou Ancient City. About 20 to 30 mins walk to each direction.
The ginger duck dinner (10 mins walk) and taro fritter right at the back street of this mishu (both recommended by the host) were one of the best food throughout our Fujian trip. We appreciated the host allowing us to freeze our food and helped us arrange a driver to send us to Xiamen the next day. It's door to door at RMB70 per pax (if sharing the cab with others). Cheaper than didi + train + didi and less time consuming.
The room size is slightly on the smaller side but we don't mind as we were out all day. All the basic amenities needed are provided. Most important is its clean and comfortable.
As I booked using non-Chinese no and can't read Chinese, I did not receive notifications from host right after my Trip.com booking . We depended on Baidu map to guess the location after the taxi dropped us at the main road. Be prepared to walk 2 mins into small/back lane and to enter an unlock gate to enter the compound of 2/3 residential building cluster. A bit confusing for us but we managed to locate the minshu after 5 mins.
We wish we had more time for Quanzhou. Definitely worth at 2 nights. So much more to explore here.

The experience was not very good, so I checked out after one night (and thank the store for agreeing to refund me). However, I really felt that my mental energy was exhausted after one night, so my friend and I changed the ticket directly. I hope that the store aunt can pay attention to hygiene, but the store aunt is still very good in communication. It’s just that we didn’t sleep very well and felt tired. It may be because the difference is too big compared with Meizhou Island (of course, it is also due to the price.
