"This hotel was recommended by a friend. When my taxi arrived, I was immediately struck by its grand exterior. Stepping inside, the lobby felt spacious and bright, and there was a pleasant aroma. The front desk staff were very friendly and patiently answered all my questions – a huge plus right away! After swiping my card and taking the elevator up, I opened the room door, inserted the key card, and as the electric curtains opened, the lights came on, illuminating the entire room. The bathroom is separated from the main room by a sliding door, and the vanity is wide. Overall, it's excellent, from the room's environment and layout to the very helpful front desk staff. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Quanzhou."

The toiletries are a collaboration with Wenxian, and the 'Citron Smoke & Sandalwood' scent is lovely. The hotel's Bangke Restaurant serves a Michelin-worthy Black Pearl meal that's easy to appreciate. I also participated in the 'Bangbei Kaihui' activity, which was a lot of fun!"

The room cleanliness is excellent. Every afternoon, they provide complimentary fruit or traditional Chinese sweet soup, which is a rare and highly appreciated perk compared to other hotels in Shishi. My only minor complaint is that the tea bags in the room cost ¥15. Tea isn't expensive, so it would be great if they could provide two complimentary tea bags daily, especially since there's a tea set in the room anyway. 😢"

"A truly satisfying stay, it's rare to find such an excellent hotel experience in Quanzhou. The check-in process was full of ceremony – hand cleansing, tea tasting, and a 'seeking water and asking the way' ritual. Plus, every guest received a floral hairpin bracelet, all very characteristic of Quanzhou. The toiletries were my favorite Le Labo 33. It rained throughout my trip to Quanzhou, so I didn't plan many activities, but I was never bored at the hotel. You can book handicraft workshops, guided tours of Kaiyuan Temple, and more. The hotel is right next to West Street, making it incredibly convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping! I'd definitely want to stay here again on my next visit."

"So glad I booked Quanzhou Overseas Chinese Hotel for this trip. Parking was super convenient for self-driving, and the hotel's location was great, close to all the popular attractions. It's an old-school four-star with excellent service and cleanliness. The complimentary Lin Shi Ma Jia Mochi was a huge surprise – I loved it so much I immediately bought more online. I found out a lot of people who repurchase it were also introduced to it by staying at the hotel. I even tried mochi from other vendors, and it just confirmed that the one specially selected by the Overseas Chinese Hotel was the most authentic and delicious. I saw news that the hotel is going to be demolished, which is a real shame. I really hope it stays open; I'd definitely book it again every time I come to Quanzhou."
