Quanzhou Licheng District Hotels

Location is unbeatable. Right in the middle of where all the old city tourist action is. Very convenient to flag down one of those RMB2 per trip electric buggies which will pick you up and drop you off anywhere within the old city tourist area. Loads of food choices within walking distance. Room is decent size and I like the hotel carpets with the famous citong flowers. Hotel was probably a 5 star hotel in its hey days. Decor is jaded but well maintained. Counter staff is hit and miss. Some are pleasant and courteous while some are like army captains frowning on stupid English speaking guests!! Housekeeping staff tend to pay very close attention to guests' coming and leaving. It seems that they would like you out of your room by 8am for housekeeping services. Do not disturb signs are ignored. Did not try the hotel food as outside food choices seem more appealing.

A wonderful stay at Citywell hotel. Excellent customer services at the reception & housekeeping . The staff were really wonderful, patient, helpful & cheerful ! Room is spacious, very clean & comfortable. The breakfast spread has good variety. The location is great , close to attractions and in midst of eateries & shops. Excellent value for money & I enjoyed my stay!

The hotel is majestic with friendly staffs and warm atmosphere. Our complement especially to front desk staff 小刘 who attended to our needs and more. He is most helpful and informative. We had seafood buffet dinner on our first night and Japanese food on our second last night. Foods are great and staffs again are friendly and warm. We enjoyed staying here and will definitely come back.

The king-size bed room I booked was of moderate size, but fortunately it was very exquisite. The hotel is new, everything is good, the hot water is comfortable, the air-conditioning is very cold, it is clean and hygienic, the quilt and pillow are very soft, I slept well, the service is good, it is worth recommending to friends.

Spacious room and good location. Under renovations so a bit noisy at times. Helpful an responsive counter staff. However , water splashed out from sides of shower area although door closed.

The room environment is very good, just like the photos taken by the store, and the price-performance ratio is good. It is right in the alley of West Street. The bell tower is a few steps away. The service of the store is also very good 👍🏻 I didn’t take pictures, but I’ll show you the little lion I bought 😂

The front desk helped me order dinner online as my mobile is overseas number and cannot be used. I could not pay online. The hotel staff had to change cny 100 bill into small notes to facilitate payment. Such service impressed me Room is buf. Shower is awesome with strong water pressure. I will stay again in my next visit.

Amazed by the hotel amenities especially the delivery of soup daily. Very delighted with this nice touch and gesture. The toilet seat was amazing with the bidet facilities similar to those in the hotels in Japan. Also the daily supply of fruits. The international buffet breakfast was nice too. I love the noodle soup. Will definitely book this hotel if we were to come by Quanzhou next time.

The first thing is to check the hygiene. The beds and toiletries are very clean and impeccable. The most important thing is that the parking lot is inside the hotel. After parking the car, you can go directly to the lobby from the back door. It is very convenient. The lady at the front desk is also very enthusiastic. The whole street downstairs is full of food. I brought my girlfriend to Quanzhou these days and chose Venus Hotel. As soon as I entered the lobby, I saw the front desk brother Yuhua [smiling] very beautiful. It was very handsome. I didn’t have this plan. I changed my idea directly to bring my girlfriend. The parking lot is also very large and free parking. Next to it is the military partition slowly security, and the hotel is in the ancient city, very close to the West Street Zhongshan Road, it is also convenient to go to Huangpu, the hotel environment is good, the health is very clean, the facilities and equipment are newly renovated, the lobby is equipped with lemons and tea, the room bottled water is also free to send, The room also has fresh fruit to eat, the hotel staff is very good, warm and polite, call the front desk to answer all questions, also recommend the scenic spots to us, very satisfied, the most important thing is that we booked the room type does not seem to be, this should be their mistake, But the front desk upgraded us to a suite, giving us a reasonable solution to the problem of both sides is commendable [strong] [strong] I will choose this hotel when I come to Quanzhou for a trip.
