I was visiting Qingyuan Mountain and stumbled upon this B&B. It was a delight! The setting is impeccable, at the foot of Qingyuan Mountain, tranquil and elegant. The owner's taste is palpable right from the start. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the cleanliness was impeccable, and the owner was incredibly hospitable, making tea and serving it with a touch of elegance. It felt much better than the cold, quiet feeling of a hotel. I'm an extrovert and love the atmosphere. Of course, if you don't want to drink tea, you can retreat to your room or wander around. There are cafes and taverns nearby, and the countryside teahouse offers breathtaking scenery. Great reviews! I highly recommend checking it out! The photos I took are truly stunning.

I’ve been traveling for weeks throughout China and I can’t tell you enough how wonderful this hotel was. The room was spacious and gave me space to breathe; the shower’s water pressure was great and the shower itself has a door as well as shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. The bed was soft and comfortable; I slept so soundly. The absolute gem of this hotel was that it had a washing machine (with detergent!) and dryer (as well as lines for hanging up and air drying). If you climb Qingyuanshan here and are drenched in sweat from head to toe, and you have an early flight or train to catch the next day, there’s nothing better than having worry-free clean clothes. The alternative is taking wet and/or smelly clothes on to the next location (which likely won’t have free laundry amenities). I would most definitely stay again at this hotel and revisit this UNESCO city showcasing China’s multicultural and religious trading hub of the past. Thank you, Tongban Boutique Hotel!

Clothes and makeup come with an extra charge though. 🛗It's a standalone building with an elevator, and there's a common area on the first floor for relaxing. The overall design is very stylish, and the circular staircase is also great for photos 📷. On the fourth floor, there's a shared kitchen where you can cook, a gym, and a yoga room. My room also had an open-air balcony where you can enjoy a drink in the courtyard 🍸.
