Manting Garden Hotel, Qufu Three Confucian Sites Scenic Area

📍 No. 1 Banbi Street, Qufu
★★★★ 9.8 (761 reviews)

"The room was a bit small, but overall I was quite satisfied. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Confucius Temple and close to the Wall of Ten Thousand Rens. The hotel also has some lovely gardens inside. Breakfast was decent too."

JW Marriott Hotel Qufu

JW Marriott Hotel Qufu

📍 No. 99 Banbi Street, Qufu
★★★★★ 9.6 (5,055 reviews)

"The hotel has a predominantly Chinese resort-style vibe, and I'd give top marks for its location, facilities, amenities, and service. Most importantly, the hotel's atmosphere is fantastic. The hotel is just a wall away from the Three Confucius Sites scenic area, but compared to the uninspired tick-the-box sightseeing, a staycation at QuFu JW Marriott completely blows it out of the water. Before coming, I checked some online reviews, and some mentioned the hotel's hardware was subpar. I actually think that's a bit unfair. Firstly, the room's layout is excellent, giving a very well-designed feel. The bathroom features Kohler fixtures, and for a hotel opened in 2019, it even has a Kohler automatic toilet. My only two minor criticisms are that the night light isn't very bright, and the water temperature fluctuates during showers. The hotel's soft furnishings are also very interesting, with many books of ancient Chinese poetry (Shijing) in seal script and bamboo carvings. The decor is very Qufu-esque, incorporating many local elements, which is truly wonderful. Regarding amenities, I tried the hotel's Chinese restaurant and the barbecue restaurant. Both offer great value for money, and the service quality is excellent, with the dishes receiving top marks. At the Chinese restaurant, I recommend the stir-fried shrimp with cabbage, and at the barbecue restaurant, the pork belly skewers. The Chinese restaurant's decor also has a very Confucian feel, and the barbecue restaurant even has a live singer, making the atmosphere truly superb. As for breakfast, guest services actually provided a complimentary one, but they stop serving at 10 AM, and I only woke up at 10:01 AM... This is probably my only minor regret, but it's not a big deal and gives me something to look forward to for my next visit! Here's a small suggestion: for a resort hotel, breakfast should ideally be served until at least 10:30 AM. In terms of guest services, both the concierge and the WeChat butler were excellent, with very prompt responses to requests. I'm very grateful for them making me feel right at home. The welcome fruit delivered in the evening was ginseng fruit, and although there wasn't a huge variety, it was unique and tasted particularly good. Finally, a huge thank you to: the manager of the Chinese restaurant (I actually gave a small suggestion regarding the food presentation, and because of their excellent service attitude, despite a minor issue, they even sent me a fruit platter – truly embodying Qufu hospitality's humble approach), Sun Na and Zhang Xue from housekeeping, and Xiao Yuan and Xiao Gao from guest relations. Thank you all for providing me with such a 'home away from home' experience."

A top choice for your trip."

Shangri-La Hotel Qufu

Shangri-La Hotel Qufu

📍 No. 3 Chunqiu Middle Road, Qufu
★★★★★ 9.6 (4,569 reviews)

"The hotel is visually stunning, tastefully decorated with authentic elements of local culture and great attention to detail in both style and functionality. The establishment shows a surprising amount of facilities that span from a quality swimming pool and gym to lounge bars, restaurants, a garden with orchard and stables, shops, event areas with proper separation that makes it lively yet never noisy or chaotic. It is rare to find a hotel that is suitable for both couples and families but Shangri-la did it perfectly. Cleanliness and customer service are as you would expect from a hotel of this category. Breakfast although pricey compared to other options in the area was mostly worth the dime and never excessively crowded. Special mention to the lounge bar that beats every local option on every level, surprisingly including prices. We went bar hopping after the lounge bar and we're shocked to find that local bars were charging twice or three times as much for much lower quality drinks and environment compared to ShangriLa."

"Just a short walk to Kong Temple and Kong Mansion. Hotel was in a place boxed in by other building. My room looks out to another building just about 10M away. Room itself was still comfortable enough. Breakfast is ok. Reception staff was polite and greet every time we walk in or out"

"This is a resort I've visited several times, and I love it more each time! The environment is fantastic, quiet, and relaxing. All the attractions are nearby, and there's a direct shuttle bus, which is super convenient! The restaurant food is also delicious and suits my taste. Plus, someone delivers fresh fruit every day! The resort also has shuttle carts for transportation, and we even got free tickets to Luyuan Village upon check-in ✌️. The most thoughtful part was when our car was charging at the neighboring hotel; they actually sent a special car to pick us up, saving us a long walk (>﹏<). This is definitely a place I'll keep wanting to come back to."

Qufu Fuzi Confucian Cultural Hotel Hotels in Qufu

Qufu Fuzi Confucian Cultural Hotel

"The room was exactly as pictured on Trip.com, spacious and bright with full amenities. The location is super close to all the attractions. Most importantly, the owner was incredibly nice. Shandong people truly live up to their reputation for warmth and hospitality. I look forward to visiting again!"

Nishan Luyuan Hotel Hotels in Qufu

Nishan Luyuan Hotel

"The scenic spot is beautiful, and I'm very satisfied that even in the off-season, the activities don't diminish. The rooms are clean, and the butler service is great with a strong service ethic. The 2.5 service score is for the staff who helped with luggage at the service area. However, the staff outside the scenic area had no service awareness whatsoever; they couldn't hear when spoken to and just walked slowly, swaying, while engrossed in their phones watching videos when leading the way. They showed no youthful energy at all."

Qufu Nishan Hotel Hotels in Qufu

Qufu Nishan Hotel

"The overall environment of the room was great, and the surroundings were quite peaceful. There was also a shuttle service from the parking lot. The only minor drawback was the slow room service response. We stayed during the off-season, so there weren't many guests. Either calls went unanswered, or it took over half an hour for items to be delivered after answering. After a reminder, it still didn't arrive ten minutes later, so we had to go to the front desk ourselves. Another small detail: in the courtyard king room, there's a gap between the sofa and the windowsill. The windowsill has sharp edges. Our child accidentally fell into the gap while playing and hit their head on the sharp edge, causing a cut. While this was mainly due to our supervision, I suggest the hotel could install some anti-collision strips for better safety."

"The room facilities are new and complete. The air conditioning temperature is just right, the Wi-Fi is stable, and the lighting is soft. All the equipment works smoothly. The cleaning staff did an excellent job; even the corners are dust-free. I felt very reassured about the hygiene."

Homeinn Selected Hotel (Qufu High-Speed Railway Station) Hotels in Qufu

Homeinn Selected Hotel (Qufu High-Speed Railway Station)

"It is very close to the subway station. As soon as you exit the high-speed rail station, you can see the eye-catching name of the hotel on a high-rise building not far away. It is about 200 meters away, a three- to five-minute walk, and you can see the vast farmland outside the window. The environment is quiet, the rooms are tidy, the layout is reasonable, the decoration is new, and it is quick and convenient to move in and out. Hotel window"

Jinjiang Hotel (Qufu's Temple and Cemetery of Confucius and Kong Family Mansion)

"It was pretty good. It's located in the middle of the old town. The navigation gave me the wrong location when I entered; you can actually enter from another entrance. Parking is a bit tight at the entrance, but the receptionist helped me find it, which was very helpful. The rooms are relatively new, and the facilities are all new. They even recommended places to eat, which was great! The only downside was that there was no small gift when I checked out, which I noticed other guests received."

Mengbaihe Hotel (Qufu's Temple and Cemetery of Confucius and Kong Family Mansion)

"Full score experience! The room and the picture are no different, the door is light and fragrant, the bedding/toilet is flawless, the environment is quiet, clean, the bedding is comfortable, beyond expectations! Convenient location, many snacks around, new facilities, good sound insulation, and peace of mind. Recommend to a friend! "

HanTing Hotel (Qufu East Station) Hotels in Qufu

HanTing Hotel (Qufu East Station)

"This hotel is conveniently located at the southwest corner of the Qufu East High-speed Train Station's west square, making arrivals and departures very easy. If you have a lot of luggage, the hotel also offers complimentary pick-up and drop-off service to and from the station. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the front desk staff are very welcoming. You can catch the K01 bus to the Three Confucius Sites from the station square; seniors over 60 can ride for free by swiping their ID card. For those visiting the Three Confucius Sites, I recommend Wangji Zhoupu (Wangji Porridge Shop) near the south gate of the scenic area for authentic local breakfast. After exiting the back gate of Kong Family Mansion, you'll find Xiangyuntang Old Restaurant at the intersection of Yanmiao Street and Dongmadao North Street, which serves delicious food."

JI Hotel (Qufu Nishan) Hotels in Qufu

JI Hotel (Qufu Nishan)

"My stay at the Hanting Hotel Qufu Nishan exceeded my expectations! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and thoughtful. When checking in, they proactively offered recommendations for local attractions and even brought me a thoughtful cup of hot tea. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. I could catch a glimpse of Nishan's beautiful scenery from the window, and the birdsong in the morning was particularly delightful. Breakfast offered a rich variety, and the local specialty, pancakes with scallions, was fresh and delicious. Staff promptly refilled items without any rush. When checking out, they even helped me call a taxi. The entire experience was attentive and heartwarming. Next time I'm in Qufu, I'll definitely choose this hotel again!"

Manting Garden Hotel, Qufu Three Confucian Sites Scenic Area ★★★★
"Had a fantastic stay! 👍 As expected from the hometown of Confucius and Mencius, a land of etiquette, every staff member, from the front desk at check-in to the restaurant during meals, was attentive, thoughtful, and full of enthusiasm. Both the overall layout of the hotel and the design of every little corner made for a comfortable and pleasant experience. Thumbs up! 👍"

JW Marriott Hotel Qufu ★★★★★
"The most beautiful part of this hotel is definitely its lobby design – the massive ginkgo tree is simply stunning! However, the signage for the hotel rooms is completely baffling; it's impossible to understand! This is their biggest flaw. By chance, you might find a staff member suddenly appearing from a corner to guide you. **Environment:** The room size is quite generous, but the dark wood decor gives off a slightly eerie vibe. **Service:** The hotel staff were very good. On the day I checked in, probably because it was raining, the room rate was actually 200 RMB cheaper than what I had booked. The front desk immediately told me to re-book to get the lower price."

"This trip to Nishan digs to the Treasure Hotel! The courtyard-style environment is quiet and elegant, and there is a campground in the courtyard. The location is excellent, close to the Holy Land of Nishan, you can enjoy the gorgeous fireworks show at night without leaving the hotel, and look at the statue of Confucius. The room was clean and tidy, there was no smell, and the living experience was great. The front desk and service staff are gentle and meticulous. The breakfast dishes are rich and varied. Self-driving travel is very convenient, oversized parking lot plus charging piles to solve charging problems. The environment, service, hardware have exceeded expectations, and there are campsites to play. This is the first choice for visiting Nishan Holy Land. I really recommend it!"
