After scouring Trip.com, I found this hotel with incredible value for money! I stayed here for all five nights in Qufu, and it was so comfortable I didn't want to leave. I had checked out a few other places before deciding on this one. The accommodations are fantastic. There's a beautiful, well-lit courtyard in the center, and sunlight streams into the bedroom as soon as you open the door. The bedding was very clean, and I especially appreciated the excellent drinking water setup. The room has a direct-drinking dispenser that provides boiling water in three seconds, so no worries about kettle hygiene. The soundproofing in the bedroom is great, and even the curtains are double-layered, which is super friendly for those sensitive to light. I also highly recommend booking a room with a small balcony! It doesn't cost much more, and the room is huge, the bed is super big, and it even has a projector! For the same price, staying here is simply amazing! When you don't feel like going out, you can head to the bar and lounge area downstairs. They have billiards, karaoke, board games, and you can grab a drink – they have it all. According to the owner, the hostel has been operating for many years, and he even showed me a thick guestbook. If you're interested, you can flip through it and leave your own message. On the first day of my check-in, a kind front desk lady assisted me, and the owner helped me with my luggage. The overall stay was superb, and the hotel staff are very friendly. You can tell the owner if you need anything. If I get a chance to visit Qufu again, I'll definitely stay here! Regarding the location: Yan Temple is right across the street, making it one of the three closest hotels. To get to the snack street or Confucius Temple, you just need to scan a shared bike at the entrance, and you're there!

The service attitude of the front desk and concierge is super good, warm and friendly, efficient, and full marks for details! Every detail of the homestay is done very well! From the front desk to the room, everything is clean and tidy. The room is fully equipped with complete facilities, elegant environment, warm atmosphere, spacious, bright and clean. I highly recommend this place!

What a spectacular experience! I don’t normally go out of my way to leave reviews, but this place earned it. The location is perfect, as you are only a couple hundred meters from the entrance to the Temple of Confucius. The premises are clean and spacious. The hotel immerses you in Chinese culture. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and give great advice. Also, the dinner is excellent! If you are visiting Qufu, it doesn’t get better than this!

Summary Great location BUT loud music at 745/8am daily for 30mins , plus cigarette stench in rooms Location Excellent, right Infront of Kong Temple (it's huge), HOWEVER be warned of the loud music coming from the temple and cigarette smell (read below). Kong Mansion is about 5mins walk from the Temple's right , and then the cemetery is located behind the There is a performance at the front of the temple gates at 8am every morning - the music is so loud it will wake you up from 745am 😂 10mins walk to their pedestrian street , you will find Luckin Coffee, Hey Tea etc and I highly reccomend MOBEN Thai restaurant located about 5mins walk (north) from Hey Tea . Rooms We walked into a room which stunk of cigarette smell. Suspect it was either coming through the shared air vents or the linen/towels , as if they were dried at a location where others smoke nearby. It's a pity because it's a really nice hotel. We had someone trying to enter the lift with a lighted cigarette in his mouth , and I had to push him out . That's crazy . Breakfast Simple and nice local spread. Gym Only 1 threadmill and 1 spinning bike , shared in the same room as the guests washing machine & dryer. Staff Very helpful and polite staff but they don't speak English. The service far exceeded that of hotels in the same category, making for an excellent experience. 2. **Location** The hotel is located in the heart of Qufu, right next to Ginza Mall, offering easy access to dining and shopping. It's only 1.3 kilometers from the Three Confucius Sites, just a few minutes by taxi, making it very convenient for sightseeing. 3. **Hotel Environment** The overall decor follows a Confucian cultural theme, providing a tranquil escape from the bustling city. The hotel staff were very friendly, and the parking attendant was also very welcoming. The front desk even gave me a special gift from Qufu when I checked out, which was a nice touch to remember the city by. The hotel's location is fantastic, right near the Three Confucius Sites and a pedestrian street. While the room decor showed a little wear and tear and wasn't spectacular, and the bathroom was a bit small, and the elevator felt a little cramped, none of these minor points affected a good, restful stay.

Outstanding. I rarely give a hotel 5/5 but if I could give this hotel 6/5 I would. It’s great value for money. Hotel is very new and comfortable. Breakfast is fantastic and it’s just across the road from the key attraction in Qufu. Perfect to be honest.

The main reason for our stay in Qufu was, of course, Confucius, and this hotel has a good location: we could easily walk to the Temple, envy as in with the mansion, then ride a horse pulled cart to the cemetery. Contract fulfilled. The sport place, across the street had fun night activities, and there were a lot of eateries, cheap and delicious, on the block The hotel itself shows its age with some deferred maintenance, such as a rusted parts in the bathroom, a sub-optimal laundry room, and some lacking service: for example, the tea and coffee bags in the room, an Atour highlight, were not replenished, and we were not offered water upon departure. Great breakfast, as always.

We specially chose to stay in Chufu to pay our respects to the Great Confucius. It was a must-visit to see his temple, mansion house, and tomb. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the temple and mansion house. There are also plenty of super markets and cafes. Getting to the hotel was a breeze — a direct bus from the rail station took us there, and the fare was just a 1 yuan! The room had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and made our stay pleasant. If you’re planning a visit, this is definitely a spot worth considering for a deeper dive into Confucian culture!
