Stayed here on business, as have done plenty of times. Nothing mentioned on check in but when went for breakfast at the pub next door which had been paid for (£10) was told it was continental only and nothing cooked available this week. Obviously not the ladies fault she was just left to tell everyone. They are very short staffed and have no Chef available to cook breakfast. Still happy to take the money and charge for it though at checkin at the hotel. (£10 for a yogurt and 2 slices of toast !!!) Very poor and next time down will look to book somewhere else.

Room basic. Bed comfortable but that is about all I would say is good. Hotel and adjacent Beefeater is dying a slow death . Tvs in bar not working as Sky not paid for. I imagine it will be kocked down and turned into flats at some point. Although I doubt they will be affordable for local people.

I stayed here with family on the night Friday 7th March, paying £21.98 extra for two breakfasts on Saturday 8th March. When we arrived for breakfast we were told that the kitchen was out of order but we could get a refund from reception. So we walked down to Wetherspoons, had an excellent breakfast and when we checked out the manager promised to refund my credit card. I've chased twice since but still no refund.

Lovely Little hotel and very friendly staff. Abby on reception was extra helpful to my elderly mum and made her feel very welcome. Thankyou for the lovely stay and will be coming back. Hotel is near local restaurants and shops so great location for things to do.

If I could give this less than 1 star I would.. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. AC does not work in all rooms, which means no proper ventilation and rooms smell of mould, I was told there was nothing that could be done. No lift in hotel so do not book if you have mobility issues, no one is going to help you with your luggage. Restaurant was not serving breakfast but we were informed we could go to a partner hotel (Gillingham) for breakfast, I assure you it’s not worth the drive. Staff are there to do the minimum, not interested in good or bad customer experience.

The walls in the bedroom and bathroom were dirty. Bed was very comfy & the shower was good. Breakfast at the beefeater was a real let down. My continental one was fine, I enjoyed it. My husband opted for the fried breakfast and waited 45 minutes from ordering to getting it. The beans were cold, the eggs were hard and it was swimming in grease. It cost £10.99 and he couldn't eat it.

We, as a family, had a brilliant time here at Rainham. The team were fantastic and very attentive. The room was perfect for our needs for the weekend. All the team were a pleasure to meet, with Danielle standing out the most. We will definitely be returning when we need to stay in Rainham again.

Comfortable bed as always. Cleanliness of room was good. What let the stay down was that I booked a meal deal only to find out when I got there that the restaurant (Beefeater) was closed due to having no staff & food! The receptionist said that I could have my meals at another Premier inn a few miles up the road. I declined this as it was just as easy to eat at an alternative restaurant nearer by.
