We stayed here for a weekday concert at the PNC Arena, a pleasant and easy 15 min walk. It is an okay midgrade chain hotel that charges for the access and convenience rather than amenities. We arrived at 5:00 and were told our room was not ready (check in is at 4:00) and got a free coke for our 20 minute wait. It seems they are suffering from lack of housekeeping help and the front desk had no idea what the housekeepers were doing. Everybody who checked in had to wait. The front desk was very friendly but did not seem to be in charge. Since the PNC Arena charges $40 for parking it seems this hotel has just added that to their room price, i.e. an overpriced room for the privilege of the walking convenience. The small bar was overwhelmed by the post concert crowd, but to the lone bartenders credit, she stayed open late (post 10:00) and kept the drinks coming. The room was large and clean after waiting a while for the lone elevator, okay HVAC, comfortable bed, but the pillows were horrible flat chunks of foam. The $10.75 breakfast (mediocre although real eggs and over cooked sausage) should have been included for the inflated room rate. It's worth paying for the convenience for the PNC but we wouldn't stay there if not for that reason. You can find the same quality for less not too far away, but then you'd have a commute and a $40 parking charge. Name your poison.
Located off Interstate 40 at exit 290, we are just one block from Corporate Center Drive and its surrounding business parks. It’s only a five-minute drive to PNC Arena, Carter Finley Stadium, and North Carolina Fairgrounds. Our pet-friendly suites feature kitchens, spacious bathrooms and moveable furniture so you can customize your space. Breakfast and WiFi are included in your stay.

My family and I stayed for a soccer tournament. The property was very nice, clean and new. The property was very busy with all the soccer players however, the staff was very accommodating. Our team grilled out hamburgers for the team and we weren't prepared as we should have been with condiments. The staff was so kind to help us with everything we needed. All the parents enjoyed the fireplace out front and we had more laughs than you can imagine. All the boys really liked the fitness center. I don't think I have seen my kid work out more than when he was here. Overall, we had a great experience despite not doing so well in the games.

My six year old daughter and I came to Raleigh for an overnight girls’ shopping trip while her brother was at sleep away camp. This property came recommended from a colleague who frequently visits. I cannot say enough, good things about how convenient it is to the different places we were trying to go. Being Wolfpack fans, our Bell Tower view did not disappoint! More that, our experience was made by the front desk attendant, Dwight. He could not have been more friendly and welcoming, particularly to my daughter. He asked her name and used her name whenever he saw her on property. It made her night when we came back from shopping and he called out to her. He truly went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable- she was like Eloise at the Plaza!

The hotel is too stingy! The water flow is deliberately adjusted to be very small, as thin as a pencil, and it takes half a day to rub the towel. The water tank in the toilet was also working intermittently, and the sliding door of the shower room would slide open automatically when closed, so I had no choice but to use something to hold it up. I don’t even know how the four stars came about? Maybe it's just that the external environment of the hotel is good, but it's just fake! Will never stay at this hotel again.

This hotel tries to be modernist. However, many things and services don't meet the standards. My husband and I are staying in this hotel. On the first day, there was no cleaning service. The housekeeping staff locked our door, and when I asked her to come back in 2 hours, she never did. You should also check your room for cleanliness. I found many small dirt spots on the floor, and the room was not cleaned during our 4-night stay. If you are a more traditional traveler, this hotel does not have a closet or dresser for you to put clothes in. Basically, you are living out of your suitcase. If you are staying for just a day or two, it might be fine, but for three or more days with a spouse, I would not recommend it. The hotel restaurant is called ”GOOD DAY GOOD NIGHT.” If you go there for breakfast, your ”GOOD DAY GOOD NIGHT” will turn into a bad day. We left the restaurant completely disappointed and hungry. If this is a Marriott hotel chain, what is the Marriott standard for this particular hotel? My husband and I went to the restaurant for breakfast on the day we checked out. The server was nice and friendly. She took our order for coffee but tried to avoid taking our breakfast order because the chef instructed her not to take orders until he was ready. However, we waited for more than 20 minutes and tried to get her attention for our order. That's when we found out the situation. We were completely shocked.

Before I arrived, I had read there are future plans to demolish and replace this hotel. But I wasn't expecting there to be a complete lack of basic upkeep. Property is in serious need of some maintenance. Paint peeling, chips and cracks, only one elevator operational. Elevator shakes a bit, felt unstable, and looked like it hasn't been swept or vacuumed out in a long time. Overall dark, dirty, and dingy and feels like a deserted property. Room door hard to open and close, and there was a thick coat of white dust covering my room window. As a woman traveling alone, I really didn't feel comfortable being here. Train tracks are a very short distance away and horns blow multiple times a night making it difficult to sleep. Restaurant is closed and there aren't many amenities. Front desk staff was very friendly and the only real highlight here. Wouldn't stay again.

It was not a bad place to stay, though we only ate three times for breakfast, 1 the last day which was free due to plane cancelation so they gave my daughter and I free breakfast but the other two times were 1 comp'd that a friend received for three people in which the other was paid for by a friend. Needless to say, I got charged $45 for one day of the breakfast which likely was because the waitress made us put our room #, though she said she understood our meals were comp'd. Sadly even after calling the hotel, speaking to one person who then sent me to the finance manager whom I left a message with but still hasn't called back in almost a week. Frustrating to say the least.

They charged me a $200 smoking fee when I have NEVER smoked a cigarette in my life! They said housekeeping found evidence in my room that someone had been smoking. Despite telling the manager that I was NOT a smoker, never have been, and that it could not have been from me, he said there was nothing he could do about it. He didn't seem to care at all. It's outrageous!! How convenient to charge customers an additional fee when you can't dispute it. I will never be staying at an Aloft hotel again. They have to be running a scam here. Beware and avoid this hotel!!!

Just like any other Hampton Inn, with the exceptional and professional customer care from the reception desk staff, and Silvana, a lovely person, jack of all trades whom you will find during the breakfast service greeting everyone and making sure you're well taken care of, and also driving the hotel shuttle. I was there for business with an international group and she was very kind to our group members. Her Portuguese and Spanish skills came in very handy with our group. She definitely adds a human touch to the hotel.
AAlstonThe staff was friendly and they made my staycation with my significant other very relaxing. House keeping was great at disturbing us during our stay. The location was great which made his surprise rose delivery from door dash perfect. Since was also in celebration of my birthday. The breakfast bar was great as well. Thank you again. We will definitely be staying here again
AAnsaman2000I am in the middle of my second stay here during July 2024. The hotel is conveniently placed near Crabtree Valley Mall and circa 1.5 miles from the nearest grocery store (Walmart). The hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating and the gym facilities are very good indeed. The reason my score is a 3 is because none of the hotel room doors have a soft door closer. Therefore the door will slam shut if the guest does not close the door by hand. This is fine until you’re trying to get some sleep. I’m into my third night of a 10 night stay and seriously considering moving as I’ve had 2 sleepless nights already since arriving. I did raise this on my previous stay and received an email from management. Appreciate this isn’t easy to fix and will require some capital expenditure however, maybe a letter in each guests room might help. Other than that, no issues.
GGuest UserI enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was really nice, the front desk was really nice and sociable. My only thing is cleanliness. Normally I’d check a hotel bed before lying in it but I hadn’t this time. Before I left to checkout, I was looking around to make sure I had all of my belongs and I noticed that there was vomit smeared on the side of the bedding and a little bit on the wall and nightstand. It looked as if someone had started to clean it but had forgotten to get back to it. I meant to mention it to the front desk but I was in a bit of a rush to leave. Overall though, I did love my stay. It’s a very nice affordable hotel, I can tell it had been renovated.
CChaLoveI enjoyed the pool and the A/C was very good in the room. I had a balcony that overlooked the road and shopping center. Balcony king room looks exactly as advertised. The room was quiet and the sheets and towels were clean. Appreciated the refrigerator and microwave in the room. The ceiling had an uneven plastering done, but it did not affect my stay. The balcony has a simple two chair and table set, nice to have a drink on during a warm night. However, there is not a great view as this hotel is right off the road toward the city. Breakfast ends at 9 am, I wish they would change it to 10. I did not bother to wake for breakfast the next morning so I don’t really know what they had except yogurt, coffee, and a pancake making machine. Overall was a great stay and the staff is kind.
GGuest UserEverything was great until...... My wife and I checked in Thursday for 3 nights. Upon check in, we were taken care of by Maria. Very sweet, attentive and had us on our way in no time. Thursday night was fine. Got up and went about our business Friday morning. Came back to the hotel Friday evening, head to the room and fell asleep quick. Then came Saturday morning. My wife is disabled, and we were on the 5th floor. We got to the elevator and waited about 4 or 5 minutes, and nothing happened. I called the front desk from my personal phone (the phone in our room wasn't hooked up) Was unfortunate to get a front desk person by the name of Kwamel. Very unprofessional individual. I asked if there was a problem with the elevators. He said yes, there were not working. I asked him how we were supposed to get downstairs. He directed me to where the stairs were. I advised him that my wife is disabled and not able to walk down 5 flights of stairs. In his own charming way, he had no other answer for me. I hung up and had to help my disabled wife down 5 flights of stairs with her walker and our cooler for the day. Took us about 25 minutes to get to the bottom as my wife had to take one step at a time holding on the guard rail with both hands. I had to stand under her so she wouldn't slip and fall. When I got to the front desk, I inquired how long they would be out. My wife and I were going to be at a convention all day but obviously needed them working before we got back later that night. Mr. Personality had no idea. I inquired what we were supposed to do if we get back and they are still not working as there was NO WAY my wife could WALK up 5 flights. He was very unsympathetic and showed no compassion whatsoever. There was another rep behind the desk. She kept quiet for a while which was probably better for her. She finally asked me to come to her. She looked in her computer and long story short, if they were not fixed by the time we got back we had a room on the 1st floor waiting for us. I would just need to clear everything out of our current room which of course I would. That reps name was Karen. She was very nice, polite and showed an interest in helping us. Kwamel showed NO SIGNS to help. He just stood there with his shirt untucked and looked like it had been slept in. Instead of being part of the solution he kept telling me no. Wonder if he would have felt the same way if it was his mom or his grandma that was disabled and had to walk down 5 flights of stairs. I called Karen later in the day and was told they got 1 side working but the other wouldn't be looked at until Tuesday (holiday weekend) I am very surprised they wouldn't have someone on call 24 hours a day in case something like this happens. Doesn't say much about how much they care about their guests. Got back to the hotel at around 8PM. We were greeted by Daniel. We told him what took place that morning. He was VERY apologetic and showed much sympathy. Kwamel should really take some notes from
CCameron SparrowTher was no toilet paper in the bathroom and a used bar of soap in the shower with a hair on it. Not to mention the frozen bottle of soda in left in the top of the fridge. They did have friendly service and a decent breakfast
MMichael RIf I could give this location a negative 5 if I would. Please do not stay here people. FAIR WARNING This was the worst experience I've had in a hotel motel or nay kind of Inn. stayed at Red Roof for Dreamville in early April and this was the only ”affordable place.” As I look at the current prices per day I see that due to the event, prices were gouged by a large margin. That's not the surprise. This place was infested with roaches and ants. There was rust and peeling paint in numerous locations in the room and sounds coming from the lights. There were serious smells coming from the room like mildew or old over used furniture. The photos in the advertisement are FALSE and give the appearance of something better than it is. I have photos and videos in which i will post if this issue is not resolved. The staff was not present the whole weekend until Monday morning when I checked out and had to fly back home. As someone who has worked in hospitality and hotels for 15 years a full refund should have been offered but instead a very low and unacceptable one was offered. When I refused all communication from their end stopped and I was forced to battle this with my bank. Please advise this company breaks its own policy and does not rectify the situations being made aware by the guest, paying to stay there. Please do not stay here people. DDawn Mosely-NixonCan't say the hotel was too bad. However I can say the location is somewhat sketchy. Directly outside of the hotel their is alot of activity going on which is needless to say very questionable. Possible drug deals, ************ and drug doing. There is a gas station/convenience store right there on the premises which too draws a large crowd. However the rooms were ok. I just didn't like that I felt my car would be unsafe in there parking area due to the amount of questionable traffic. So sad to say I never took my luggage out the car in fear someone standing by would notice a bag or two and come back later to check it out. I did choose to leave but not because of the lodging. I think if you can get past the outdoor activity it may make for a nice rest spot.
