Lodge 37 ★★
"Affordable and comfortable..near town and can go shopping and dinner"
The Pampines Villa, Mount Kinabalu ★★★
"Did some research & was really happy to find this place. The location is a bit far away but the place is well run, clean, comfortable & the service is really good, communication was easy & friendly. Plus their cafe serves good coffee & really good hot chocolate. Already started recommending this place to my friends & will continue to do so"
Sutera Sanctuary Lodges at Poring Hot Springs ★★★
"Friendly service and excellent staffs Room was clean. 1 Master bedroom and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds. Both room hs toilet. The masterbath room has a bathrub but its old and cracking. WiFi provided Breakfast is included and required pre-order. Don’t expect much from the breakfast buffet spread s but does the job to keep you full. In terms of taste, the food tasted delicious. Facility require RM200 refundaböe deposits per night. Water supply was sufficient. We were 2 pairs of adult couple staying for one Night."
H Benjamin Residence ★★
"The residence is far from the centre. Drive can be challenging. The provided room was basic. We were placed in second building next to main building. As it was raining, this was a bit inconvenient as there is no shelter to rooms. There was no available umbrellas available. The curtains in the rooms need to be replaced as it was stained. Breakfast was reasonable. Had dinner in the restaurant on the second day. The view of Mount Kinabalu was good."
Kundasang Mount Garden ★★
"Stayed there for the first time and it was good. The only inconvenience is that there is no restaurant to eat.But it's not far to go out and buy food."
Perkasa Hotel Mt Kinabalu ★★
"The front office staff friendly and helpful during our stay. We got the chalet 13 on our stay, feels like taking stairs to level 4/5 to get to the chalet. The view is more to forest and sky, not a mountain view. Lacking wifi on the chalet side and mobile phone reception coverage also not so good (we are using CelcomDigi blue and yellow edition). Overall, its a very relaxing experience."
Celyn Resort Kinabalu ★★★
"Poor customer service , road towards hotel was terrible , Room was really dusty upon check in , we had to check in after 7pm so nothing much could be done. Woke up at 6am to a great view of Mount Kinabalu but then had no water to shower from 7am - 9am , Had water after that which came in dirt color, I was given keys to another room , just to shower. I immediately asked for check out , no refund given, nor was I asked why I am check out 1 days before. Overall , I score the stay 4/10 , those who appreciate view , can stay , those who expects clean hotel rooms with view, sorry this place is not for you"
Skyville Zen Resort, Kundasang ★
"Good, acceptable accommodation"
Sling & Stone Mountain Suites ★★★★
"Cosy place, the lady is friendly and provided different breakfast choices. Location is a bit off city, get to enjoy the peacefulness. However amenities is quite simple"

Sabah Tea Garden
"Stayed for two nights with my husband, The cottages are quaint and well furnished, only niggle was the water pressure in the shower. We had a tour of the tea plantation and also ate in the restaurant both evenings we were there, food was really good hot and tasty. Views from the restaurant are excellent, beautiful sunsets over mount Kinabalu. Would recommend a stay "
Mile 36 Lodge
"Everything was pretty good. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was nice. The only was that the room wasn't very clean and dusty."
Kinabalu Rose Cabin
"Owner unable to provide sejadah which I think its common for Malaysian hotelier to provide sejadah for Muslim travellers."
Sutera Sanctuary Lodges at Kinabalu Park
"love love the room, design was fantastic however the view was covered by trees. would’ve preferred it the house was facing the main road. otherwise it’s perfect. i wished my home looked like this haha"
Nabalu Kundasang
"Overall, it was okay, but there were some mosquitoes and a damp smell in the room. The lighting in the room was also insufficient, quite dim. Breakfast was just so-so, so don't have high expectations."
Sunrise Kundasang Resort
"This places very cool then we can see the clouds from our sides room in the morning… the view very nice… their staff very friendly… thank you Sunrise Recreaction hotel… till we meet again… nice places and nice view…"
J Residence
"We deliberately avoided congested kundasang this trip. here offered a quieter alternative. There’s a relaxed pace here — no loud activities, no constant traffic. The room served its purpose comfortably, and the cool air enhanced the stay. If your goal is peace rather than entertainment, this place aligns well with that intention."
Kinabalu Poring Vacation Lodge
"Suitable for families.Room is huge and wifi provided, wifi connection strong too . Location just nearby with hot spring and not far from the stay(unless u guys planning going Poring Hot Spring and may choose to stay here ,sure no regret .)Some people might think its far but i prefer here. The environment so peaceful ,away from road jam . Parking space also provided which big area there .When we checked in late, owner will whatsapp their location map ,owner prepared a lot of local foods and bbq fish .Owner so friendly and inviting all having dinner together . We stayed there for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. Highly recommended . No worries .Use waze and it will guide you there ."
Spring Garden Kundasang
"We didn’t stay at this resort but decided to visit anyway. Beautiful garden especially the hydrangea. Quite yet season now so we have the whole garden to ourselves . There’s a short trail to the river. Love the surroundings. The photos would prove it! On the way you’d pass by the Kinabalu Golf course which I would recommend to any hinders! It’s the highest green in whole Malaysia!"
Deco Home The Oasis Mesilau @ Kundasang
"There's no hot water in the bathroom sink, and the water pressure in the shower is too low!"
Deco Home Mesilau Golf Bungalow @ Kundasang
"Clean and comfortable, house very big and garden well managed. Suitable for gathering and equipment entertainment inside the house."
