"Beautiful little resort up in the mountains of Chiang Mai! The villas were right next to nature yet provided the needed privacy. Food was great and rooms were surprisingly clean. I engaged the hotel for my transfers and half day tour and it was great value with recommendations to nearby local speciality farms. My villa was unfortunately bombarded with falling fruits during rainy nights but that's proof of how the resort blended right into the forest around it."

"It's not far from Tiger Kingdom or the elephant spot, but it's far from the city center, so you probably won't be able to catch a taxi on the way back from the Khom Loi Festival. Even if they took us there, they wouldn't be able to pick up other customers on the way back, so they would either charge several times the price or refuse to take us. I wouldn't recommend it if you're not staying in Chiang Mai for long, but the pool and restaurant are nice, so it's recommended if you're staying for a long time."

"From the moment I booked, both rooms I saw on Trip.com looked different from the actual photos. After several complaints, only one room was upgraded. Finally, upon check-in, the other room was also upgraded, but it still wasn't the same as the room I saw and booked through Trip.com. Among several issues, the most inconvenient was that the hot water only ran for about 5-10 minutes initially and then stopped. I was satisfied with the overall atmosphere, the landscape of the resort and cafe, and the evening BBQ party. The staff's kindness was also very impressive. However, I wouldn't want to book here again."

"The hotel is beautiful, but it's built on a mountainside, so the buildings you need are spread out on a very steep road, so it's not easy to move around it. There are golf buggies that take you from place to place if you call them, but having to ask for a vehicle every time you want to go and eat or leave is quite annoying. The distances are walkable, but not if you have mobility issues. The pavements are also in far worse condition than the roads, so you end up walking on the roads and having to keep jumping out the way of the passing vehicles. Photos are attached of the view of the very steep road going up next to our balcony to show an example of the scale of the steepness. The location is remote. Apparently taxi apps like Grab and Bolt do not work here, although we did manage to quickly book a Bolt to take us here from Chiang Mai centre. A car and driver can be hired from the hotel for 2500 baht for 4 hours. I wouldn't recommend visiting if you don't have your own vehicle, as there is nothing nearby you can walk to. On check-in, the hotel said they offered room service, but there were no menus in the rooms. The room cleaning was slow if you are on a higher floor - on our 2 days, they didn't manage to visit all morning despite us leaving the ”please clean room” sign on the door. I found out later that you can ring reception to ask your room to be prioritised. The restaurant is expensive compared to central Chiang Mai, and they recommend that you reserve a table every night you want to eat there, but the food was good. Service was a bit chaotic. On the night we arrived, at 5:30 pm, reception told us they had reserved a table for us. But when we went to the restaurant, that did not seem to be the case, and we were taken to an unreserved table in a loud and echoey room. I then had to go up and ask to order as no-one came, and then the order was missing items when it did arrive. Randomly on the grounds near the lobby, there is a parrot in a tiny cage compared to its size with no entertainment, hardly any plants, and barely anywhere to perch. It's really sad to see."

"Arrived around 9 PM. The staff member was waiting to check me in, arranged a 'Moo Krata' (Thai BBQ hotpot) set for me, and even carried my luggage to room B1. In the morning, the breakfast consisted of sandwiches, congee, and orange juice, which was delicious and just the right amount. Visited on January 16, 2026, when the temperature was 12 degrees Celsius."

"We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was impeccable, with the staff arranging transportation for us at the very last minute, and even contacted our next hotel stay for advance arrangements, which we sincerely appreciated. The weather was great in Jan, with fresh air from the nature. Managed to capture a breathtaking view of the full moon surrounded by stars. Breakfast was exceptional, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was serene and deeply relaxing. The Imperial Suite with a private onsen was exquisite. Highly recommended."

"It will be good if you have your own transport to here. But you still can travel to here by arranging share transport from Klook - to Queen SiriKit Botanic Garden. (It just 10 to 15 min walk) or request them to send you straight to the Mae Sa Valley Farm Stay Resort. Over all the place is nice with a small waterfall. Air is fresh in the morning.  Simple Breakfast is included. The restaurant food is good. But we prefer the cafe with aircon which is just opposite the road. Food is yummy! Since we have no transport we walk to the Queen SiriKit Botanic Garden which is the nearest activity. You will need to spend about 3 hrs or more. There is a tram to bring you round. Please remember to bring along mosquito repellent. Over all the stay is pleasant if you like quite, fresh air."

"We booked two rooms. I stayed in the one-night and two-night rooms for two nights. They were clean, fragrant and very spacious. The bathroom is very spacious. Worth the price, but the only downside is that there are so many people staying. The water flowed very lightly, and was now big and small, hot and cold. And a room for one night. But once inside, there is a musty smell. The surrounding area is beautiful. But I wish there were more lights at the back of the room, that would be great. You can sit back and enjoy the river view. The service was excellent."

"The fuses in the bungalow kept tripping. At night, we had to turn off all the devices that consumed electricity so that only the air conditioner worked. In the morning, when we turned on the lights, the entire bungalow was completely de-energized, although the air conditioner had already been turned off in advance. There was some kind of smell coming from the bathroom in the bungalow. The drain in the sink was clogged, there was some kind of sewage in the toilet, it did not flush. In the kitchen: the salad with chicken and bacon was tasteless and looked unappetizing."

"It took me about 50 minutes to take a taxi from the city of Chiang Mai. I walked more and more into the countryside. But as soon as I arrived, ducks, cats, and peacocks came to greet me. I suddenly relaxed my nervousness. The room was not big, but it was enough for me alone. Yes, the hardware in the bathroom and toilet is also old. Peacocks would come and go on the balcony of my room. The water in the waterfall is not very full, but it can be seen that the owner has put a lot of effort into maintaining the environment."
