On arrival shown to our room, Room 135. Up some very steep, loose, wooden stairs. As we got closer to our designated room the floor boards quite literally were unstable and dangerous to even be here . Not to mention the building site behind our room, photo linked below . Balcony rickety and not enough room for even 1 person, I don’t think it would’ve held even 1 person let alone the 3 that were staying there. The second bathroom was considered a wet room with a toilet, sink and shower but barely enough room for one person to shower very unhygienic. Kitchen area very dated which was in our child’s room which again is another issue. Luckily our Jet2 rep, Lisa was AMAZING and helped us move hotels to the Creta Palace which we couldn’t fault, it is amazing. Thank you Lisa ! All in all a disappointing start but I think the Beach Plaza had satisfactory facilities but the rooms were a complete let down .

We had a brilliant 10 days stay here bed and breakfast. Kids age 11 and 13yrs, the staff were excellent, really friendly and look after us brilliantly, my wife also hurt herself when there and they were so helpful with getting us to the doctor and checking on her afterwards. We did find the kids pools too small for ours age children, however teens were in the larger pool quite often, and halfway into our stay the adult only pool became usable for all. This made a huge difference and we assume this is because it’s now high season/because of feedback. In future we would suggest that certain times specified the pool is for adults only, perhaps that is a good compromise, as it was such a shame to see it not being used much the first half of our stay. Breakfast was great, lots of options. The only thing we would say is it would be nice to have fresh orange juice/juices instead of the ones served, but fresh omelettes, meats, pancakes, fruit were all lovely. Daily sunset views from the hotel were amazing! Pic below. We did a brilliant trip/hike along the Samare gorge for the day, really recommend this, and to watercity waterpark, both were a big hit! All in all would really recommend this hotel, clean room, changed towels whenever we wanted, absolutely 4* all round.
