Some interesting designer touches gives a very relaxing and luxurious vibe. We loved our stay and highly recommend it. "

The restaurant is very good, the five-course dinner is impeccable and worth the money. The snacks provided by the beach bar are also very delicious. The only drawback is that the double bed is not ideal and the bedding is not comfortable enough."

"Not room N 1 would say that your accommodation and in the restaurant of the swimming pool  nothing that works the safe coffee machine television. Fortunately we only stayed one night we forgot our things and we were not contacted it is us who claimed for transfer from another, our hotel. We paid the post office I find normal, but it was not necessary if they did their work for us as soon as we left in any case, too bad for this hotel and your service, a little chaotic, ??"

"The apartment No. 1 on the top floor has direct sea view and a balcony. It is beautiful and practically furnished. In the kitchen you can make food for people, the tools are useful and renewable. It has enough storage areas and the bedroom can be separated from the kitchen through a door. Two air conditioners can be cooled, as well as heated. Both in the kitchen and in the bathroom there is hot water. Douche and shampoo bottles were not replaced in a week, towels and bed linen once. Rooms service was available every day except Sundays. Restaurants, beach, supermarket, old town, everything is in walking distance. We have always found a parking lot. The staff (lobby and cleaning staff) were friendly and helpful. We would rent the apartment immediately, price performance agree absolutely."

"We were a bit hesitant before coming here because of all the conflicting reviews, but it turned put to be one of the best vacations ever :) What was I looking for: - not a super fancy, expensive hotel as we wanted to go out and eat at various different restaurants - Check - direct access to the sea - Check - decent size pool and pool bar - Check - clean rooms and surroundings - Check - intimate vibe, boutique hotel, nice staff - Check Some useful points: - the breakfast is kind of basic BUT you will find things to eat every morning - the beach area is narrow and not really clean / maintained and the entrance a little rocky BUT once you get past the rocks it’s lovely, sandy and water is very clean - the rooms are small, it’s true we lived from the suitcase (but we are used to it :D) BUT we were still comfortable (AC works great, bed is very comfy, there are plenty of hangers, shower was good) It’s my 4th time in Crete and I’ve stayed at fancier hotels but to be honest I cannot say I wouldn’t consider coming back here, we felt great and had everything you can possibly want from a holiday. Places where we ate nearby (all good) Cavo - the absolute best in terms of food and vibe. Make sure to make a reservation as it gets full in the evening. It’s a 5-7 minutes walk for the hotel. Tanepa - huge portions, tasty food, located 3-5 minutes from Petradi Prima Plora - nice here as well, 5 min from the hotel We found these places much nicer than the restaurants in Rethymno, the food is better. It’s a big plus the hotel is located next to these :) So overall, we recommend Petradi 👍"

"I’ve never felt so welcomed by a hotel manager! We were given a personal tour upon arrival, and nothing was too much of an ask. The room was lovely, beautiful sea view, only a ten minute walk into town. The breakfast was fantastic and changed everyday. The place was absolutely spotless! Was a shame to leave!"
Kyma Suites Beach Hotel
"Spent 10 nights here. Location is great as right on the seafront prom. Shops and restaurants all around. 10 mins walk to the long golden beach and free sun beds. Close to marina and old town. Housekeeping daily. Breakfast nice especially the delicious orange juice. Room was clean, a good size with lots of storage and a large bathroom. There was a very large step into the shower - stepping over the side of a jacuzzi bath. Not ideal for all and future guests should be made aware as this could be dangerous. We paid extra for a sea view room but were disappointed. Our room was very noisy on the first floor over the main road and taxi rank. We saw trees, traffic, tops of boats and masts - just a bit of the sea. Sure this would improve from a higher floor. Staff we met were professional and polite but a more friendlier, personal approach would have been nice especially as we were there 10 days."

"The hotel is very nice, neat and clean. the location is excellent, the beach is beautiful, the food is very diverse and delicious. the only pool is very small, but it didn't matter to us. in any case we recommend this hotel. the staff is friendly, the rooms are cleaned every day, the towels in the room are changed every day. beach towels every third day"

"Comfortable beds in well equipped rooms. We stayed at the Aegean Pearl for 10 nights, we all enjoyed the hotel and the lovely team who work there. Check in was very quick and pleasant We ate at the pool cafe most days, the menu was perfect for lunch and the team there were very efficient and friendly - its reasonably priced. Breakfast has a lot of options, everything is kept replenished and fresh and again the team at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. We spent quite a few days on the beach just across from the hotel, bar service is provided by a super friendly/professional lady called Joanna. Beach towels are provided by the hotel and are picked up/dropped off at reception. Big shout out to Reta and George at the evening pool bar, good fun and friendly. We had two body massages in the time we were there, highly recommend, go at the beginning of your holiday as you will most definitely want to go again! Entertainment is enjoyable, finishes up around 11pm so as not to disturb residents. We would stay again, great location , 25 min walk into Rethymno."

"We booked this hotel after reading all the positive reviews. And Although we can agree the hotel is well presented and is kept clean and tidy and in close proximity to the beach and around a 15 minute walk to old town that is about the most we will say is positive. We did not use the pool, pool bar or watch any entertainment that was on offer as this did not interest us. The pool is in shade for the majority of the day due to its location but that we agree is not at fault of the hotel. The rooms are nice, we paid for a superior pool view but we was given a road side view, this was rectified straightaway without any fuss, however the balcony we had was no wider that arms length so not an ideal place to sit and relax. No changing of towels daily, or bed linen. Now the main concern and honestly is what ruined our whole holiday and that was the food! Nothing we had either breakfast or evening meal was hot! Not one thing we ate, it was cold each time we ate there and over two weeks we only ate breakfast which again was pre made fried eggs, bacon, the usual. This forced us to eat outmost of the time even though we paid half board. The health risks associated to serving cold food which is meant to be hot really need to be addressed example Eggs should be made to order. It’s not a big hotel so this should be and easy fix. This hotel in our opinion caters more for its European guests rather than that of the British guests, I’m not sure if this hotel is new to Tui Uk guests but I would not book here again due to the issues raised."

Their genuine hospitality made us feel right at home and ensured that everything went smoothly throughout our stay. The location is perfect, you are right in Old Town, close to the water, shops, and all of the restaurants. Everything is a quick walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rethymno area."

"The environment was nice. I stayed in a loft suite with a view of the sea from the balcony. It's next to Resimonon, on a hillside, and parking is easy. Crete is actually quite large, so tourists don't significantly impact the lives of the locals. You can drive to various beaches. For just a few euros per person, you can get a parasol and a lounge chair. Some are even free. On my last day, I randomly picked one and just relaxed on the beach, enjoying the sea breeze and the view – very comfortable. The Blue Lagoon is beautiful, but it really tests your driving skills, car condition, and physical fitness! The meat on Crete is the best, and they have a unique traditional grilling method – grilling it above the oven, surrounding it – so fragrant!"

"Travelled in late June early July 2026. A mum (me) with two teenage children. We have had a wonderful time in Rethymnos, and in Crete in general, and we have loved the accommodation. Crete is a beautiful island and there are a lot of places to visit. Rethymnos is a quiet little town, located on the north cost. There are really a lot of possible excursions from there, for example, to the beautiful beaches on the western or southern coasts, to gorges, or to archeological sites close to Heraklion, Knossos, for instance, and to other lovely towns like Chania. Leonidas is a quiet hotel run by a nice family, and located close (a couple of minutes) to the golden sandy beach. There is also a pleasant swimming pool and swimming pool area which the owners take great care of. The owners and staff are very helpful and nice. They made us feel really welcome. Breakfast was very satisfying for us, really a lot of choices, and, after asking, they provided gluten-free food for me. When we went on early excursions they let us choose packed breakfast among a lot of possibilities. They were really helpful and kind in general. Also, they helped us when we had an annoying last minute flight cancellation. Our room was in a pretty new building… so it was new, well equipped and comfortable, with a kitchenette, too. There was a nice room terrace with table and chairs. We would come back."
