We have just returned from a week stay at Atlantica Aegean Blue. The hotel was lovely, modern and clean and the swim up rooms looked like they would be amazing once the weather warms up. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend staying in April as it was cold and rainy most days and the pools are all unheated which meant the water was freezing. My 3 and 5 year old absolutely love the water and usually our holidays are based around the pool and water parks but unfortunately their lips were blue after 30 minutes playing and couldn’t really enjoy the amazing water park or pool. I’m sure in hotter months this wouldn’t be the case. We rented a car from the lady in reception for 2 days for something to do. Would highly recommend - we visited Lindos and got a ferry to Symi - both beautiful trips All shops, ATM machines and restaurants were still closed in the surrounding area of the hotel. Food was ok in the buffet but wished there was more meze etc in the evenings. We liked the snack bar for lunch - the gyros was very tasty. Definitely not 5 star though food wise. Huge queues to enter in the evening as well - it seemed they couldn’t cope with demand in the evening. We did the oriental al a carte and this was lovely for one evening. Overall I’m sure this is a great spot in height of summer but would not recommend In April

We just returned from our family holiday to atlantica Aegean blue with our two kids aged 12 & 6. Upon arrival the hotel is gorgeous, aesthetically it’s very pleasing and modern. The room we booked was the family suite with the pool view - this was nice and a good space. The staff at reception can come across annoyed if they’re bothered. Which puts you off even speaking to them. We went in the off season so it was cold, I then learned the hotel doesn’t have any heating which is odd for a 5 star. They bought us up a portable heater. They don’t have room service which again is odd… so from 9pm onwards if you are hungry, you have to starve until breakfast which is 7am. Unacceptable. They have a shop downstairs that sells snacks and drinks but it closes 10:30pm. The WiFi constantly cuts out and there was atleast 3 power cuts during our 8 nights there. The fridge only gets restocked every 3 days which is weird for an all inclusive. The a la carte restaurant lagoon was nice and there was a lovely staff member called Chrysa. Her customer service was impeccable!! We never tried the italian. And the buffet was average nothing spectacular, overall the experience was a strong 6/10. Would not recommend or return.

This may seem like a long review, there’s lots to get through – so stick with me on this! Check-in was quick, and we were told to wait outside for a porter to take us and our luggage to the room. We waited for at least 20 minutes before someone turned up – apparently reception staff hadn’t notified anyone that we were waiting. We booked a Premium double room for my wife and I and our son. The room was on the third floor. As we walked up the stairs, there was linen, and sheets just left scattered on the staircase and side which turned out to be a regular occurrence during the week – even after the cleaners had finished. We noticed one bundle was there for a complete week without being moved. The room was tiny – nothing like what we expected for a “Premium” room. There was a sofa made out to be a single bed right next to the double – no privacy at all. A glass door separated the bedroom from the toilette and shower – again, no privacy. A large window was between the bathroom and bedroom, so if anyone used the toilette at night, it would light up the whole room. We booked an inland view, but the view from the balcony was a concrete staircase to another block – not even a garden or pool view. But what was even worse, the air conditioning didn’t work. It was on but the temperature didn’t drop past 29 degrees. We complained to the holiday rep’s and reception – they sent out maintenance on several occasions but still didn’t work. Eventually they moved us to another room after 6 days which we were happy about (still had a glass door and window between the bedroom and toilette in the new room). Pet hate number 1: Smoking The hotel didn’t have designated areas for people smoking. People were smoking at the night entertainment around young children, in the outside restaurant areas when people were eating and around the pool. Sure a designated area can’t be that hard to arrange! There are plenty of pools at the hotel – those closer to the rooms were mainly for young families with music, entertainment, ball games etc. The infinity pool near the beach was a “quiet” pool with no games allowed. Some families thought it was acceptable to bring their own music speakers and play quite loud which wasn’t acceptable. The hotel should have an age restriction on the infinity pool – there were two occasions where younger children used it as a toilette which resulted in the pool being closed for 3 hours. The beach is quite small and stoney – not directly accessible from the hotel area which I was disappointed with. There is also a water park which we used once as the slides are prone to giving you friction burns – so be careful. Pet hate number 2: Reserving lounges There are plenty of loungers, but some people thought it was perfectly OK to put towels on a sun lounger and not return to them for 6-7 HOURS. In other resorts that I’ve stayed at – if you are not on a lounger for 45 minutes, the towels are removed to let other families use the loungers. Pool towels are

I can’t say enough about this hotel. In short the staff make it an amazing experience. We arrived early in the morning and were greeted at the front desk by Fedra and Isolte who were very helpful informative and arranged our luggage to be kept until our room was ready which was given shortly after the other guests departure with no delay. I must thank Melina in reservations for assisting prior to arrival and also greeted us at the check-in. We were taken to the room by Sakis the porter who was chatty and explained the room facilities very well. The room was spotless and smelled of cleanliness. Two types of pillows were provided (soft and hard) which suited both my husband and I. The room maintenance was also very good, no noise from air-conditioning and well soundproofed. There was an excellent television system with various channels and information for all you needed to know of the hotel services and facilities. We needed some assistance in booking our a la carte meals and guest relations Fotini was very helpful in arranging this. She had a very good knowledge of the hotel’s services and happenings and was very pleasant to talk to. The hotel grounds are well kept with lush greenery and spacious gardens throughout. All outdoor areas are constantly clean throughout the day and the sea views are amazing. The food is amazing. The buffet has all you need for all preferences with live cooking stations for omelettes, eggs and crepes. Fresh salads and fruit and well cooked tasty dishes. Allergens were clearly marked and areas were kept clean even at peak times. The kids buffet was also a great option and I must admit that I helped myself to a few items. Thank you to Christos who served us daily. The a la carte restaurants were excellent. Both the food and the service were at very high standards. The staff in all three restaurants work very hard and yet manage to seem relaxed and are well organised allowing time to speak with each guest. Their sincere hospitality shone through. A special mention to Sevastos who seemed to be everywhere, Chrysa and Julia at the Asian, Giannis at taverna, Angela and Konstantina at the Italian. All very kind, polite and caring that was evident for all tables. The entertainment was great for families and adults and the water park a great addition to complement the rest of the daily activities.  Christos from the reception also organised a taxi for us to visit the 7 springs nature trail and the medieval old town which were both a good day out. The old town is also attached to the newer part of Rhodes City Centre where you can also stop for a coffee and local delicacies and do some shopping. Well done to the hotel manager and his team for all that they offer and especially the atmosphere and hospitality. We would definitely recommend Atlantica Aegean Blue and hope to return to this or another Atlantica in the future.

Been back one day from our 2 week holiday, it was amazing. We also got married and it was perfect. The contact I had with Nektaria before during and after the wedding was faultless. She was very attentive, and met my every need. We had a large wedding party of 49 guests, but the day still flowed seamlessly and both Nektaria and Lee were there every step of the way. She really went above and beyond. We paid a little extra to have some extras to our wedding like canopies as there was a large lull in the middle of the day and this was so worth the money. We had the canopies in the Asian which was private, with a violinist and it was very elegant. The food was beautiful and better than I thought. We also had some unusual requests and she made sure my every request was met. I cannot thank her enough for making it such a brilliant day from start to finish. I wish we could do it all over again! It was so much fun. The hotel its self was perfect and fabulous for children. The food was great for an all inclusive hotel and plenty of variety. The Italian in particular I loved, which is also where we had our wedding. We did have a few items go missing from our room though which was a shame. We had a swim up room and it just made it even more special to have such a lovely room. I would 100% recommend this hotel for a holiday and for a wedding and recommend Nektaria and Lee to organise your special day. I cannot thank them enough. We would absolutely love to come back in the future! We had an awful experience with Tui before and after the holiday, but the experience at the hotel was fabulous.

We spend a great holiday in this beautiful resort! Especially the aqua park made it a perfect autumn holiday for me and my daughter. The food is great, everything is clean and beautiful. The pools are quite cold at the end of October, but children still play in them having tons of fun. We especially remember our dinner in the Italian a la carte restaurant. The perfectly organized and very sympathetic Konstantina made it fantastic and memorable. She was so nice to my daughter Emma - really lovely! Also Christina in her team was very nice :-) In the Greek Tavern we loved the atmosphere created by Ioannis - a very charming Greek gentleman :-) Thanks to Fotis (guest relations) we were allowed to enjoy 2 out the 3 a la carte restaurants. Thank you very much for this special treat, Fotis :-) There is one recommendation I would like to make: 35 EUR for 40 minutes of Sauna is not acceptable. Even the most expensive Spas in Germany would not cost more than 45 EUR for the full day. Especially in autumn, I would have loved to spend a late afternoon in the Sauna. But not at a price of 35 EUR per 40 minutes!!! This is a hotel I want to visit again because we felt very relaxed and enjoyed our holiday there. I highly recommend Families to spend a holiday here!

All freshly prepared to. A lot of healthy dishes available. The infinity pool is amazing. Water slides are great. Not only for kids . I booked a massage at the spa. Efraim is an excellent excellent therapist. I can strongly recommend this hotel. We had a great stay.

We are actually still at resort and we are not looking forward to leaving on Thursday. We are really enjoying our stay. We highly recommend Atlantica Aegean Blue. Our room is great. Everyone at the resort is very positive. We have been here 11 days so far, and we really feel like we are welcomed sincerely. Tonight we have experienced delicious Italian food at La Trattoria restaurant at the resort. We are originally from Italian part of Switzerland and the food really exceeds our expectations. A special thanks to Konstantina for her positive attitude and friendliness. There is another fantastic restaurant at the resort, Asian. We loved it. Everything about it is great and the especially three wonderful ladies: Chrysa, Carlotta and Maria that work at the asian restaurant. Thank you ladies. And if you like cocktails and super skilled barmen, you will def love it here. Thank you Mikhailis, Angelos and day ladies from main « Kids Bar », Nykos and Mike from Lobby bar. You know your craft! Cheers! Lastly, thank you Milena for making our stay even better. We will be back!
