The hotel and breakfast was nice, the location was great, and the staff was very helpful and positive. The negative side: there was no effort to provide us a room that I had reserved and paid extra. After a long trip it was frustrating to get things straighten out. Eventually I got the kind of a room that I reserved and paid for. I did not even complain, just humbly asked if they could provide us a room according to the reservation. And they did, after the first night. Alas, the staff promised us some compensation (that we did not ask!) but did not deliver any of that. When, upon returning home, I wrote an email to the corporate email, I got a lukewarm mambo-jambo response that made me feel that I am a bit stupid to expect that they actually have rooms that I reserved online. I am ok with minor hassle when travelling, that is part of the journey. Empty promises and annoying corporate response dragged the final experience down.
