Lindos Mare, Seaside Hotel

This time I'll write a short review, as it was my second time at the hotel and I've already written a review in 2023. However, I want to acknowledge the warmth with which we were welcomed there the second time which proves that the hotel not only provides lovely conditions for first-time guests, but also values its returning family, because that is how you relate to everyone there. I'd like to send my best wishes to Nikos, Ina, Ourania, Savvas, Yevheniia and Fiquerete who were only some of the many more who helped us have memorable days once again. Hope to see you next summer, as we've already booked our stay for 2025! And, once again, the food here is beyond expectations - not to mention the wonderful view you get from the buffet restaurant.

We are coming to the end of a two week stay here and we cannot fault the hotel at all. Even before we arrived I had emailed and nothing was too much trouble. So from the moment we arrived in the early hours the amazing experience started. We had missed dinner but that did not matter as they left us snacks in the fridge- not only that but we were able to have a voucher to use for lunch in Pelagos pool restaurant. We had booked an inland view which was still so pleasant as we looked into a courtyard with trees and beautiful wildlife such as swallows. And the odd occasional cat too. The main restaurant is so well organised by Savas - the Service Manager - and his team. We were greeted every day with lovely smiles by everyone including Ina and many many more. They quickly got to know my love for cappuccino fredo and towards the end I didn’t even have to ask for it. They just know! Such attention to detail is very rare. The Pelagos restaurant team are also incredible- such smiles and amazing service. For those that don’t drink alcohol like myself it was great as there were mocktail options and they would happily make me a pina colada without rum. And they even made my husband an Amaretto Sour which wasn’t on the menu. Meltemi Greek taverna experience- as part of our stay we could use this restaurant once per week at no extra cost. It was a wonderful menu experience and the portion sizes were not stingy at all. We leave today with a heavy heart and sadness as has been the greatest two weeks. Thank you team Lindos Mare

Just returned from a fantastic relaxing pool holiday, and we look forward to returning to see the amazing staff. My sister recommended the Lindos Mare and it certainly did not disappoint, with its lovely food and great customer care. Efi, the Resident Manager, provided Helen and myself with a stunning room view and her appetite to create a family feel is clear for all to see. Thank you to Savvaz and the friendly Mare team for a wonderful holiday.

We were greeted at the hotel with a complimentary drink, everything was organised to a high standard, a porter took our bags to our room, because we arrived late there was food and drink left in the fridge. The food in the restaurant is of such a high standard, and a different variation every night , staff cannot do enough for you, and are so friendly, you have a choice of visiting the a la carte restaurant and traditional Greek restaurant within the hotel which is well worth it, the quality of the meals were just incredible, our room was cleaned to a high standard every day, the hotel caters for everyone with lifts to take you to the beach if needed, it is truly a 5* experience, so much so that we have booked to go again.

Just returned from our third visit to Lindos Mare and already booked for next year. We cannot fault this hotel in any way. The location is idyllic in a quiet picturesque bay but only 5 minutes away from Lindos if you want somewhere a bit livelier. Bus stop right outside the hotel to either Lindos or Rhodes town. Choose between a beautiful pool area or private beach with bar service for food or drinks Location aside all the team under Efis watchful eye go above and beyond to make your holiday special. Without exception everyone is extremely professional, friendly and helpful and it would be unfair to single just a few out. We had an amazing room with a spectacular view across the bay. Each room has a coffee machine but I prefer tea so a quick call to reception and a kettle arrives. I found the mattress a little too hard so again call to reception and straightaway housekeeping arrive with a mattress topper! We loved the Drifters & Legends tribute bands, great fun evenings but there’s something for everyone with piano, guitar music some evenings. Food is amazing in all restaurants especially Asian night in the Estia. The sushi selection is unbelievable. Beware if ordering lunch as the portions are huge - we always shared. I could go on how wonderful this hotel is but I think by all the reviews it’s pretty plain this is the place to go!

We first visted the ‘Lindos Blu’ as a couple 11 years ago …. Fast forward to the present and we returned, this time to the ‘Lindos Mare’ as a family of four. I had my reservations as the Blu sets the standard very high …. But was not disappointed. This hotel has improved with age, and the expertise of the managerial team in place today. We had a phenomenal room, breath taking sea views,and the sound of the surf in the morning. The hotel was immaculate and the staff faultless in their professionalism. You can sense they are absolutely exhausted after the season, but never stopped delivering throughout our stay. Our special thanks to Savas, for his ability to put our children at ease and enjoy their experience. To Linda, on the carvery, with her wonderful smile and encouragement as my daughter navigated new dishes in Greece. You are already missed very much. Also, by no means least, the back of house staff who clean the communal areas and rooms tirelessly. It meant so very much, and was enormously appreciated. We loved all the hotel had to offer, and are already contemplating our return! There are many many places in the world, but this hotel delivers something special. Thank you team Lindos Mare. XX
