Rodos Sun Apartments

A really friendly hotel that is just far enough out of the center but easily walkable to get into it. The staff are all amazing and there is always someone cleaning and I definitely recommend you stop in for BBQ night. The hotel has a small supermarket a 2 minute wander away for room snacks etc and a bar and restaurant about 2 minutes in the other direction. Sitting in the bar around the pool is a perfect end to the night. The hotel is well maintained and George, the owner, looks after his guests in the same way and is proud of his hotel.

Can’t fault this lovely place. Even though it is basic (as in no toiletries or hairdryer), it was spotless everywhere, towels were lovely and soft, bed and pillows very comfy. No fighting for sun loungers as there were plenty to go round. The staff were outstanding, they were extremely friendly and 10/10 for customer service. Would definitely recommend and would go back.

Great location, clean and perfect as a base. Only a short walk to the beach, bar street and bus stops with great links to Rhodes town and Lindos. Some downsides- air conditioning is expensive (we managed without). Very poor sound proofing: you can hear all movements and conversations of neighbouring apartments. The hotel behind rodos sun had a very noisy karaoke twice during our stay which was awful. Only one toilet roll was provided for our whole weeks stay. There is nothing to hang up wet clothing on (such a pull out drying line on balcony) Upsides- location: within walking distance of the beach (we enjoyed the end near the harbour), an easy walk to bar street and main ***** where there is loads of shops, bars and restaurants. Plenty sunbeds at pool area- you don’t have to get up early! Loads of bus stops nearby, we used buses for days out without any problems. Overall an amazing holiday, we loved Faliraki and the island as a whole. Rodos sun is perfect as a basic, cheap and cheerful, no frills accommodation, we were happy as had read all the reviews and knew what to expect (such as the light coming in from the door so we hung a towel up)

The Rodos Sun is a pleasant hotel in Rhodes, Greece. This hotel provides a fantastic laid-back atmosphere for couples and families. With Rhodes being only a 35-minute bus ride away, the hotel is ideally located for a relaxed stay in the beautiful Dodecanese islands. We (4 adults and 2 children) thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The hotel was perfect, the staff was fabulous. The pool was lovely, and the food (especially the full English) was fantastic! When we visit again we endeavour to try the weekly barbeque, it smelt great!!! We had the best time at Rodos Sun and are already excited to visit again!

So clean and very friendly. Travelled at end of July into August with our adult children. Arrived late due to delayed flight but Jimmy was waiting to check us in. He was great at explaining everything, sorting out the air conditioning and the safe. The whole family were so friendly and ready to help if needed. We ate lunch at the bar on several occasions and the food was amazing. The weekly BBQ was the best in Faliraki (as advertised). Great food and entertainment. We spent quite a lot of time around the pool which was very clean and you could always get a sun bed. The beds are a little firm for my liking and the wet room Greek shower isn’t a favourite but we will definitely return.

This was my first holiday alone and from start to finish was made to feel so welcome. George knew my name the first morning and was so welcoming. My daughter and her husband and children were staying down the road in a all inclusive with slides etc for the kids and were made to feel welcome whenever they visited so much so that the children preferred to be here. Food at the snack bar was freshly cooked and both the food and drink was do reasonably priced nothing was too much trouble would definitely return.
