It was an awful stay. I had called three times before booking, asking to be sure to have peace of mind. On the contrary, it's as if you were living in the center of a supermarket both for meals and for the night in my family suite with a view of the sea. Horrible hallway noises that start from eight o'clock and can also be repeated during the night. The doors correspond to paper doors. I could guess if the people passing by were wearing leather or crepe soles It's an abominable experience that I don't recommend to anyone. As I wanted to recover, I wanted to ensure calm by his various phone calls before booking. When I arrived I noticed how we were dealing with an enormously noisy hotel, a breakfast which was a real nightmare. I immediately wanted to cancel and offer 30% compensation. Trip.com really tried to reach the manager of the hotel who at first pretended to want to accept and then simply refused. (3 hours) This is my worst hotel experience of my life. The staff is very pleasant. At the reception except Selen who has been charming since the start, I dealt with robots. No way to speak to the hotel manager. Definitely I was not the weight. To flee with all his strength

I am so gutted! We came last October 2023 and could not fault the place (except the all inclusive dinner, but you always no with all inclusive it's hit and miss) so we booked again for this year October 2024. Wow.. has it gone down hill. We could not wait to hit up the gyros all inclusive as this was our favourite part. However we was met with wasp infested self serve cat food basically and hard pitta breads that snapped when you bent it and only a triangle size piece at that. The drinks machine would always run out of fizzy drink. Every time you got any food or drink wasps would be around you in seconds. The pool was freezing cold. The rooms were very old and dirty, staff were friendly and entertainers were lovely, however compared to October 2023 entertainment has definitely gone down hill. They had so much for the kids last year and last Halloween 2023 my kids could not stop talking about how fun it was and was so excited to go back to experience this again, however it wasn't great this year unfortunately. The beach is lovely, the location is great, the all inclusive again hit and miss. The taxis which we got from the hotel were quite expensive compared to when you are actually in Rhodes so I would keep a taxi number handy and not get it from the hotel. The water slides don't bother booking unless you 1.20m as we went last year my daughter was allowed on no problems 5 years old, this year she's 6 and 1.1 and we had to argue it everyday that she could go on, by showing videos of her on it last year. All in all, we do love this place and are gutted it has gone so downhill at the moment all it seems like they are doing is promoting to get more customers as all the clubs they done for 5 minutes for a picture opportunity. When we went to the reception to complain they informed us we have probably seen there isn't many staff because the hotel has now gone bankrupt and has been taken over by new owners and is no longer labrande. Such a shame as we loved coming here.

We came to Labranda Blue Bay Resort two weeks ago for the second time, for a 10 day stay, after our extended visit in October 2023, and were greeted right from the start with warm hugs like old friends. We had an amazing time, again, and cannot thank the staff and employees of Labranda enough. Thank you to the staff, the bartenders, the waitresses and the cleaners. Everyone was so helpful to us and amazing. Many of you remembered us from last year and greeted us warmly. Big thanks to the reception and booking team, Selen, Rafaela, Sophia, Manolis and George and Cindy, who greeted us with a warm hug upon our arrival and were always there to help. Thank you to the entertainment team, Sam, Zeno, Babou and of course DJ Chu Chu . There wasn't a dull day at Labranda, entertainment team were full on. The food was excellent, there, always something new and surprising. Thank you to our friends at the Greek restaurant, we loved your food so much- Anna, Rosita, Diaz, and Chambika. Thank you to our friends at the Italian restaurant, Vaggelis and team. Thank you to the amazing bartenders, including Nikos, Elias, Iraklis, Evangelos Andreas and Christina and to Michal, Hara and others in the main restaurant. And special thanks to the guest relations team, Cathy and Debbie, who took care of us, we love you! We are already looking forward to our next visit in October 2025!

Where do I begin? I travelled with my family of five (husband and 2 adult sons, and son’s gf) to Labranda Blue Bay Resort at the end of September (24th) This was definitely not a four star hotel as advertised in the lovely brochure photos, it is more of a two star and that is pushing it. We arrived in reception to check in and were greeted by a surly young man who seemed as he was reading from an autocue (as he was so robotic) We paid our taxes, €7 per room, per night (joke) and we were then told that our rooms were located on the other side of the complex and we would be taken there. We were loaded onto a golf type cart and transported to ‘block 6000’ having passed through’Beirut’, a derelict building storing old mattresses and furniture for everyone to see. We were shown to our rooms, we had booked 3 rooms for us all which had ‘garden views’ On arrival I tried to unlock the ageing and rusty door lock and was met with some resistance. After gaining entry to our room we were met with a dated, tired and dusty room. The floor tiles in the main room had rust on them under the table, the tables themselves were shabby and definitely not chic. The balcony walls had green algae growing on them. The balcony furniture was dirty and tired looking and there was water all over the floor from an overflow pipe. The tiny shower room was also dated and smelt of bad drains. Be aware, tiles are very slippery when wet. I wanted to complain to the management and ask to change rooms, but this would have meant that the family would be separated as we were all on the same corridor. Instead we agreed to make do. We unpacked and decided to take a dip in the pool out the back. The pool did not look as if it had been cleaned this season as it had loads of dead insects floating around in it. Having decided against this we went to the poolside bar to order 4 beers and a lemonade. On arrival we went to ask for the drinks and we were met with the lady there shouting abruptly ’ I have no cups, you get cups?’ Having paid over £3,500 for this holiday, I was not about to go collecting the empties for her just to get a drink! We moved to the main hotel and ordered some ‘watered down’ beer from the miserable staff there instead. It seems as the hotel has no care and attention being paid to it as there did not seem to be any staff coming round and generally tidying/clearing away at all. We did find some unused sun-beds at the pool, but on closer inspection discovered they were all broken and had large holes in the fabric. At this point I wanted to get straight back on the plane and go home as this was turning into a miserable experience, not a well looked forward to holiday. And talking of planes, it would have been easy to get back on one as they literally flew over our heads every ten minutes until the early hours. Every time a plane flew over, we had to stop our conversation as you couldn’t hear each other! If I had known that this hotel was directly under the flight path, I wo

Stayed for 10 nights with my family (3 adults and a 17 year old) Booked a family room and a double room with sea view. Positives: - Staff was friendly throughout, reception was really helpful in organising taxi’s and advice on buses to Rhodes. All staff seem to work really hard! - Main pool area was nice, also had various other pools situated around the grounds. Waterpark was fine, 5 large slides and an area for smaller children. - Food was varied and enjoyed the majority of it. The roasted lamb was delicious! - Although we didn’t get involved with the entertainment, the staff was always enthusiastic, happy to talk to you and had a laugh with you at times - perfect if you have little ones. - The grounds are lovely and are kept really well. - Close to the airport and easily got a taxi from outside the airport. Negatives - Huge cues in the evening, we ended up getting 2 drinks at a time. In my opinion they needed more staff on considering the size of the hotel and the amount of visitors it had. Drinks were average. - Never been to a resort either where ice creams and slushes were charged as an extra (just to point out you can get ice cream at meal times) - A few times we had housekeeping just walk in even though we put the ‘do not disturb’ sign on the door. - There was several times when cues were so long out the door for your evening meal, again maybe this needs addressing for such a large hotel. - The rooms could do with being updated and cleaned properly (DONT LOOK UNDER THE BED) Other things to mention: There was quite a few cats around although it didn’t bother me, I can see this may bother others. We had a couple of good nights at Billy’s Bar which is just a short walk from the hotel, we took a taxi twice into the main area of lalysos where we ate/drank at Trinity Bar and Alkionis Sports Bar. We also took a bus in Old Rhodes Town, where we booked a boat trip for later in the week. Overall we had a lovely holiday with our extended family who we’ve not seen for a while, weather was gorgeous however we would not return, there wasn’t enough around outside the hotel for us but that’s personal preference.
