A factor in booking was the free parking, however only the disabled car parking is on site, the actual car park is further down the road from the rear entrance of the hotel, and confusingly signposted, but is an asset to the hotel. The staff were smoking outside the kitchen entrance and we had to wait some time before we could check in despite ringing the buzzer. The stay was enjoyable and the facilities as expected at a Premier Inn. There is some wear and tear to the building, which didn't detract from our stay. Would stay there again.

A big thank you to the lovely housekeeper, Libbie. Room was left spotlessly clean and we.d been left a beautiful little Easter treat. What a lovely finishing touch. Fab location, close to all of the places we like to visit. Thank you Libbie 🐣🐰

I’ve stayed here a few times over the years and it’s got steadily worse to the point I won’t return. The hotel location is great on the seafront and there’s a dedicated car park to the rear the surrounds of which are a little rundown but I’ve never had a problem with my vehicles left there (other then seagull deposits…). The hotel bar / restaurant used to have a really good range of food and beer and was often busy, unfortunately it’s now hotel guests only and it shows. The staff working the night I ate there had very little interest in the patrons and were sat in the restaurant having their own meals. I had to find a member of staff who thrust a menu in my hand told me to ‘sit where I want’. Breakfast was a similar affair with nobody taking my room number or seating me so I just helped myself and left. Finally the room, it smelt a bit off but I figured it needed the heating on so I went about my business they went for a long run along the seafront. When I returned and went to shower is when I discovered why it smelt so bad in the room. I’m unable to upload the video footage but suffice to say the shower trap hadn’t been cleaned for months and stank. In summary I’d give it a swerve and try elsewhere as they really need to up their game, not that I expect they will care because Whitbread are too big for such details

Worst stay at a Premier Inn ever. Requested a room near the lift as I have mobility issues but was allocated a room as far from the lift as possible ...17 rooms away from the lift. Room was not fit for staying in as the heating didn't work and couldn't be fixed by the staff. Toilet seat was broken and held on with only one bolt so slipped and moved when sat on. Only one of the five ceiling lights was working. Extractor fan in bathroom not working USB charging point was ripped out of the wall leaving just a hole. Outside reception rubbish was everywhere and the rubbish bin was full and overflowing. A used nappy was close the entrance and stayed there for 3 days...disgusting!

We ate in the restaurant at 5.30 pm. The place wasn’t very busy. Card machine and ice machine not working. Starters came out in dribs and drabs with incorrect items. Starters not finished and the mains came. My wife’s main came ten minutes after all the others. The manager seemed disinterested and to top it off the chef came out in tears saying she was on her own and under pressure. This was a truly dreadful experience
