Great hotel, staff were friendly and loved the ale house bar. One thing that could be improved is the Lift speed, it is painfully slow! I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again

Gorgeous gardens and terrace The hotel was lovely and on such a sunny day we really enjoyed the terrace and gardens. The food we had in the afternoon was delicious! However, the breakfast was not so good. Food items were stale even though we didn't go down particularly late. Was very disappointed with this part of the stay but the rest was great.

Clean and Comfy but there's some improvement neede Room was clean and comfortable. Shower was effective and bathroom was spotless. Food was delicious and not to much to make you feel stuffed! There was a gap in the black out curtains at the top that let the light in. The hotel exterior lights were on all night, which is environmentally insensitive, as well as kept me up! Also the doors werent that soundproof, so when the revellers came thundering along at 2.40am, what little sleep i had managed to get was short lived! The restaurant felt more like being in a pub than in a hotel. We had to order at the till and the atmosphere felt like being in a pub... next door table were effing and jeffing, which made it uncomfortable, seeing as we had gone to an effort to get dressed up. Food was good, though!
