I stayed here on the way north to Townsville and on the way back a month later. Both the 2 bedroom deluxe river view and the 1 bedroom Riverview apartments were wonderful. A must for strolling down the riverfront boulevard past the stately 19th century buildings and finding the mixture of country stores and hipster coffee shops. The area has been rejuvenated beautifully and the Empire overlooks it all.

The decoration of the hotel is relatively old, the location is good, it is suitable for passing by for one night, the room is relatively clean. The price/performance ratio is ok, it is worth driving by and staying overnight.

Hi all, have stayed here a few times and always pleasant. Lucky enough to have an early check in which was no issue. Room is clean, bathroom is small but enough to get ya by. Nice and central to shops etc. Restuarant attached to motel was busy but didn’t drink or eat there this time. Gear Indian food literally 20 metres down the road. Parking was easy and nice pool. Always a good stay and always my first choice to consider when coming to townsville. Thank you

We are travelling for business, and looked at the location for the affiliated accommodation provider and were not impressed. After the previous not of being in very poor accommodation we drove around Rockhampton and was impressed by the way Edge presented themselves. Their staff were very hospitable and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the whole room was beautiful and clean! Highly recommend! We will be back for sure.

I was about 30 mins late in arriving but the staff stayed to waitifor me. Also come and let me know that I have left my van light on. Amazing service. Would definatly sate here again.

Normally, I was smoked by the smell of disinfectant all night. The uncle at the front desk is very nice
