We found the room at Barbieri Rovinj near Old Town Rovinj to be super close and convenient to town and the beach. It was also a great location for a couple of nights at Rovinj and for exploring the mountain towns of Istria. I would not rate the décor or cleaning details as high as what we had grown accustomed to in our previous 3 accommodations of the trip, but it was perfectly nice. The room was nice, and the attached bathroom was convenient. There was also a lovely shared kitchen that could be reserved or requested for your use as needed. The kitchen seemed to have anything you would need for meal preparation. We didn’t spend any time on the balcony as there were lots of mosquitoes in late September, but it was a nice balcony. There was not a sea view, but there was a nice view of the church at the top of the Rovinj Old Town. The room had air-conditioning and a television with all German cable TV. It also contained a mini fridge and water kettle for some quick food convenience. I think spring water is usually available because there was an empty dispenser in the hall. It was very nice to have gated parking, and we left our car there to walk into town. The walk into town was along the edge of the sea and was super enjoyable both evenings that we walked into town for dinner. Restaurants boasting sea views begin just at the street in front of the lodging, and a grocery store is directly below the lodging. Heidi was friendly and helpful with information when we arrived.
