Tabino Hotel Sado ★★★
"It was my first time using the hotel and I stayed for 2 nights, and the staff, including the front desk staff, greeted me well and was very helpful. There is also a large public bath where you can relax. I went to Sawada and Ryotsu in a rental car, and it was quiet at night and I slept soundly. At breakfast, we also enjoyed local foods such as rice and rice cakes. This is a hotel I would like to stay at again."
Hotel Oosado ★★★★
"The view was magnificent, offering a 180-degree panorama of the horizon. Although it was raining earlier in the day, the sun appeared at dusk, and watching the sunset from the hotel's footbath was a moving experience."
Sado Resort Hotel Azuma ★★★★
"Had the best dinner and breakfast here - seafood is very fresh and well prepared. The rooms and tub has a great view of the ocean"
Kohan No Yado Yoshidaya ★★★
"The Japanese-style room was very relaxing. Although it was a breakfast-only plan, the breakfast was quite luxurious and delicious. I'm curious about dinner. However, I feel the time for using the hot springs is a bit inconvenient. If it closes at midnight, younger people might not be able to use it. There aren't many places to have fun nearby, so it might not be a problem, but Sado Island itself is very boring, and even though the accommodation was good, I probably won't go again."
Aokiya ★★★
"The facility itself has a Showa retro feel, but the rooms are spacious and the views from the large windows are amazing, giving it a nostalgic feel, and the toilet and washroom are convenient and have a calming atmosphere. The hot spring♨️ has a retro bathtub and a brand new open-air bath♨️ that was added about two years ago, and it felt great, and the food was delicious. The rice🍚 in particular was superb, and I was really impressed by the delightful service of being allowed to have as many refills as I wanted. As expected!! I ate rice from the home of rice🌾."
Yahatakan ★★★
"the portion sizes of the meals are very big and generous. the onsen is great and they have a sauna too"
Sado Futatsugame View Hotel ★★★
"I particularly liked the decor of the rooms. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful. Among other things, they allowed me to park my bike in the entrance area, and instead of just storing my luggage, they let me check in much earlier. The location is, of course, remote but beautiful, with plenty of nearby attractions and a great view. There was also a stargazing event, which was much better than I expected. The food was also delicious, very upscale but not over the top."
Hotel Familio Sado Aikawa ★★★
"When I made a reservation for three people through Trip.com, it automatically changed to a quadruple room and I was charged for four people, so I couldn't make a reservation for three and ended up losing money for one person. The hotel's public bath was small and only big enough for 3-4 people, which was a bit of a concern, but otherwise it was comfortable. The buffet-style meals were also delicious and nice."
Nipponia Sado Aikawa Gold Mining Town ★★★★
"It was a very interesting experience. The rooms are scattered throughout Aikawa Old Town, so I recommend staying at the main building for convenience. The building itself is a century-old house. Sado Island is very beautiful, and the sea view of Oo-Turtle at the northern end of the island is amazing!!"

Nanauraso
"The sunset from the large room next to the room and dining room is wonderful. The kindness of the staff makes the impression of the trip many times. Dinner starts at 18:30 this time, but the landlady will tell you when the sun sets. There was no time limit for the bath and I was able to take a bath in the morning. I was able to enjoy dinner, the number of items and the taste. The rice was a little soft. It was a joint washbasin, but paper towels and tissues were prepared and saved. It was a negative point that the toilet smelled a little tight."
Retreat Sado Island Glamping
"The scenery is absolutely beautiful, and watching the sunrise over the sea is incredibly romantic. The room is also clean and tidy, with a sofa, coffee table, refrigerator, air conditioning, and flashlight. The outdoor dining area is also lovely. The shared bathroom and toilet are a bit far, about a 2-minute walk, which might be inconvenient for women to use at night."
Senkakuso
"Local seafood and polite dishes, very delicious. It was a Showa inn, but it was nice to be kind."
Isaribi No Yado Doyu
"The hot spring was great. The food was good too. The room was clean. However, the menu said "2 go" of sake at dinner, but it was actually 300 ml. If I had known, I would have ordered a different sake. But that's it. Thank you for your hospitality."
Kanazawaya Ryokan
"Amazing place, felt back in time ! The hosts were really nice. I recommend this place."
Rosencat
"Rural experience is great! The kittens are so cute! Adoring ibis near the farmland! Beautiful scenery in Niigata and Sado Island."
Guesthouse SADOYOI
"This guesthouse was very clean, had parking available, and allowed for a relaxing stay! There are also many lovely places within walking distance, making it enjoyable to stroll around!"
