On arrival Steve met us and supplied us with various lists with pictures of places to see and visit, invaluable as we only had a day for sightseeing. The room was spotless, bright, airy and comfortable. The highlight comes in the morning, breakfast, absolutely perfect, I rarely eat cooked breakfast, but this was not to be missed. Great location, Wenda and Steve perfect hosts. Would definately return

I was away from home and a little stuck on where to go, This was a fairly last minute decision and I am really pleased with my choice. Building is an old Georgian Town House (an early one) so don't expect square rooms and technology but it's perfect. It's very clean and the breakfast is very tasty Steve and Wenda can't do enough for you. I got suggestions of walks, a map of tested eateries and a parking permit. I can only stay 2 nights this time but will be back Salisbury is lovely but this place is excellent!

A weekend singing in The Cathedral, a few minutes away. Very welcoming. Parking on street.opposite the house -- permit included. Breakfast excellent, went to the butchers to buy some of the bacon to bring home (ordered for us by Steve). Advice and information was very helpful. Enjoyed our breakfast chats about the city and its historic buildings. Far more to the city than just the cathedral. Museum small but well worth a visit. Dinner and service at The Chapter House very good and at a discount. For coffee lovers not in a rush seek out Culture Coffee. Loved the coffee and the atmosphere. A perfect stay thanks to Steve and Wenda

Just had two nights at Cathedral View and can heartily recommend. The location is perfect - directly opposite the Cathedral and within a very short walk of Salisbury's other delights. Our room was super: spotlessly clean, light and airy with every guest's need anticipated. Top notch breakfast with a wide range of choices including smoked salmon., fresh local eggs, sausages and bacon from the local butcher plus homemade jams and marmalade. Steve's fresh fruit salad was lovely too - raspberries made all the difference! Steve and Wenda are the perfect hosts- so knowledgable about their city and delighted to share tips and ideas about making the most of your visit. Ten out of ten from us :)

Highly recommend this delightful accommodation. A great position to visit all Salisbury has to offer. The rooms are large and spotless. Steve and Wanda are exceptional hosts with a wealth of knowledge about the area and always on hand for advice and suggestions. Breakfast was outstanding.
