My mother and I swung through Salisbury for one night to fulfill a bucket list wish of hers to see Stonehenge. The Old House could not have been a better choice - from the ambience of exposed timber beams in our room, to the warm and genuine welcome from the proprietors, to the excellent breakfast. Not only that, but it is ideally located for those using their own car and just a short walk or bus ride into the centre of the town. Our only regret is that we were not able to stay a little longer to enjoy more of their hospitality!

Phenomenally clean, quiet and comfortable. Delightful hosts, made excellent restaurant recommendation for dinner, and provided wonderful full breakfast. We accidentally left two coats in a room closet when departing. They quickly texted and called to let us know. A great choice in Salisbury.

This gem is in a great location. Walking distance to the Cathedral (long walk but doable) , 20 min to Stonehenge (by car). Mark the host goes out of his way to help and so does the family.. nothing too hard. totally recommend this establishment

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast (pre order the night before) was very tasty. Room 3 has the most gorgeous bathroom. Beautiful gardens too. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at The Old House in Salisbury! The owners were incredibly kind and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful—something for everyone in the family to enjoy. Our room was so comfortable and beautifully decorated, with lovely touches that made it feel both cozy and special. As a family of four (two adults and two tweens, aged 11 and 12), we found the space perfect for our needs. We were genuinely sorry we only booked one night—next time, we’ll definitely stay longer!

Stayed recently to attend a birthday celebration in Salisbury,Although the weather was dreadful.We received a great welcome and our room was very unique and comfortable.The breakfast was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay and were made very welcome by the owner.Thank you and we would highly recommend it..

A wonderful guest house in Salisbury - I'd challenge anyone to find a better one in the area! We had the ground floor triple suite, being two interconnecting bedrooms with bathroom, ideal for families or friends sharing. There was a fabulous full English breakfast, cooked to order by our lovely hosts. It's a 20ish minute stroll into the city centre, which, by the way, is also fabulous.

FABULOUS OLDE WORLD HOUSE
WHAT A FABULOUS FIND. SO SO LOVELY WITH OWN CAR PARK SO YOU CAN BUS ANYWHERE AROUND SALISBURY. WHAT A TREAT I COULD HAVE MOVED IN. THE BREAKFAST WAS THE ICING ON THE CAKE.
