Hotel was quaint and quiet but also in need of a lot of upgrades. There was no outlet available where they had the microwave so I had to move it myself into the bathroom area to use it. At check-in I was told check-out time was noon but housekeeping was banging on the door at 11:30, telling me check-out was at 11 and very rude about it.

Convenient location. If you have plans to move around the old town, you can consider it.
Facilities: There is a small swimming pool on the premises.
Breakfast is very monotonous. Hot water is provided at the front desk for a fixed time period every day.

This is a terrible brand hotel that cannot be hostile! !! !! Especially the reception desk is worse than the big car shop!
Breakfast is the worst of my brand hotels in more than 100 countries. It is not as good as ”Motel” in New Zealand.
Very Good

Always saw this hotel on previous trips to San Diego but never stayed here before. The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is in Old Town so you are surrounded with some of the best Mexican food in San Diego. Park the car ($17 night) and feast away. Onsite restaurant is The Tequila Factory. Good food and margaritas (the hotel gives you a voucher for a free drink worth about $9-10). Old Town Mexican Cafe (100 meters away) has the most amazing fish tacos on handmade tortillas (you can watch the tortilla production in the front window). The hotel is old (maybe a little dated in the room decor) but clean and well kept and it is a beautiful property with lots of courtyards and outdoor seating. Staff is friendly and helpful. Old Town is easily accessible to both I5, I8 and hwy 163, close to the airport and around 10 miles to the beach (very easy to get there).

There is a complimentary breakfast voucher, Western breakfast, ok. The hotel is traditional Spanish and has a very nice look. The location is very close to the airport in the old town. The old town itself is an attraction. The bars, restaurants and specialty shops are very interesting and very lively at night. I had a good meal with my boyfriend at a Mexican restaurant near the Sheriff Museum. The room itself is large enough but soundproof. American hotel guests should bring their own slippers and toothbrushes because the hotel generally does not provide these.

Check-in at 1 am is OK, but the big bed was not cleaned, so I changed to a twin bed and it felt bigger. It is close to the road, so it is almost noisy. The air conditioning system can cool and heat well, except that it is a little dark without a ceiling light. I have a lot of luggage, and the aisle is not big enough for 28 boxes + walking. The voltage is low. The kettle I brought from China boils less than 100 degrees, but it is no problem to heat it to 50 degrees. There is a microwave and orange water in the lobby.

It is a motel, but the security is very good. Maybe it is too close to the old town. There are more tramps nearby. The hygiene is very clean. There will be train sounds sometimes. The quality of sleep is good. Then there is no delay! Everything else is OK.

Very atmospheric antique hotel, the garden restaurant is very beautiful, if you want to play the old city is definitely recommended, but the sound is not good, the facilities are very old, the bed is very small one meter five, the two are crowded, and away from the airport I was able to hear about the take-off and landing, but my sleep was basically unaffected, and the passing classmates said that they could not sleep. After all, it is a historical building, and it should not be too much for comfort. It’s a feeling of being a nostalgic lady.
