Had a fantastic night at Hotel L’Antico Pozzo. The hotel has a great location and our room looked out on to the Main Street with views of the towers one way and the countryside the other. The room was well equipped and the bathroom was really nice and modern.

Such a quant and beautiful hotel. We only spent one night in San Gimignano and I wish we had planned more. This hotel was perfect and the staff was very helpful to me. As a family of 5 it’s often hard to find space to fit us all. I sent a note prior to our trip and the hotel was quick to respond and accommodate us. The room was perfect and spacious. Loved the little aspects including the basement and the balcony eating area. Breakfast was perfect as well. I would definitely go back and recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great location in a historic place. Good value on price. A substantial breakfast was included. Everything was fine.

Stayed here for a week as our base for Tuscany. Hotel was excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms gorgeous as is the old building. A perfect base for our Tuscany adventure.

The hotel was easy to find if you use Google maps; they took us to the front door to drop off luggage inside the walled town. One note is you will need to back up to the street you com in on to get to the parking outside the walls. There is an elevator across the street, so getting back into town was easy; just turn right, walk to the first entrance and walk straight for a few short blocks, looking left for the hotel as you cross each street. The hotel can offer you a prepaid ticket to pay a lower price for parking if you stay 2 or more nights. That is more than I had imagined for service. The hotel is charming, as is the staff. The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the building is unique, built over about ancient well, hence their name. You may even visit it The hotel offered great communication prior to our visit with detailed information, in case we were not using gps. The location is perfect. The bed was so comfortable I overslept, so missed breakfast. I’m putting onthe alarm for tomorrow, but no need since they also have a wake-up service.

This hotel is a real gem. Situated in a historic building in the quieter North end of the walled town of San Gimignano it is beautifully decorated, clean, tidy and well-run. Staff are helpful and the breakfast very good.

Great location in the town itself. Rooms are adequate with en suite and very comfortable bed. Breakfast is continental but plentiful. You can drive to unload at the property but best option is either car park 3 or 4 and catch the lift. Overall a very pleasant stay

This was our second stay here with a group & was again excellent.Lovely hotel,ideally situated within the old town of San Gimignano close to all the sights including some very good restaurants. The family that own the hotel,Emanuele & his sisters look after you so well & are very friendly & helpful. A very good breakfast choice too,plus some lovely rooms with very comfortable beds…would heartily recommend.

This hotel was the perfect marriage of quaint and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They even went out of their way to help us coordinate taxis (which are hard to get in San G) and when our ride to the airport was mixed up the clerk on duty made arrangements for new transport at 5 am.

Nice hotel in a lovely old building with great staff, really conveniently located inside the historic centre. Our room was nice, quite traditional. Was a little noisy in the morning as we could hear other guests through the walls but otherwise good.

I was very well received in the hotel and enjoyed a lot my stay! Employees attended me super well, specially the owner of the hotel that told me great stories about the hotel, the city, travelling...

Great place. In the center of town. Large room, comfortable bed. We enjoyed the outside terrace. Breakfast was very good.

Stay here! This place could so easily be a 4* rather than a 3*. It was by far the nicest hotel on our whole Italy trip (which included 4*s) - beautiful rooms, comfy bed, a great breakfast, brilliant location. Most importantly everyone in the hotel was super personable, really helpful and kind. It was really obvious to see the pride they held in this family run hotel. If you’re unsure about staying overnight in San Gim, do it, you’ll have the place to yourself in the mornings!
