Very enjoyable stay. Breathtaking views from the balcony looking over the countryside. Excellent meal in the restaurant. Hotel is friendly, well equipped and well situated within the town walls. Hotel car park needs pre booking and is very convenient. Sister hotel in the valley a few km awayhas a nice pool and grounds which we were able to enjoy.

Nice hotel in the heart of this fabulous town. We had a room with a shared veranda, which had a fantastic view over the town and local countryside. Only downside of the visit was that we were not able to get a table at the restaurant for dinner. Not much effort from the hotel reception desk to fit us in

What a wonderful hotel in a lovely location for a short break or looking around the area with good local transport Some good shops and restaurants There is a local supermarket just out side the walled part of the town by the coach park The hotel staff are were friendly and helpful Only hard thing to get was taxis But we booked transfers via Andria and friends tours which was on time and very good.

The hotel is located in the heart of the old city and provides lovely choices of panoramic views to the landscapes or over the main pedestrian street and roofscapes. Hotel staff are very helpful and rooms well appointed. We’d definitely stay there again

Beautiful hotel just inside city walls, friendly welcoming staff, clean well equipped rooms, fabulous restaurant with vista views, breakfast spread to accomodate everyone. Pity only here for one night - will definitely return.

Great location, professional service, very modern and clean bed/shower room, so couldn't find any flaw. Our room was with a balcony, so we could overlook a great view of the soporific rolling hills of Toscana in the open air. Utterly recommendable.

We were on the Via Francigena - by bike and they happily stored our bikes in a nearby store room and showed us to our small but comfy room, which looked out on the main street. Unfortunately they had no space in the restaurant - but made a good recommendation. The breakfast was fantastic, with an unbeatable view. Not cheap - but really good. Our room on the street meant we heard the morning street sweeper & the [not too] late night revellers.

We absolutely loved this hotel! Located inside the walls of the old city, Hotel Bel Soggiorno could not be more charming. The staff is friendly and so helpful. The restaurant is also wonderful. We also enjoyed being able to go to the sister hotel just outside of town to enjoy the lovely pool there. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend to friends!

Lovely rooms with stunning views over the countryside and a smashing dining-room. Staff were very nice and the breakfast was plentiful and charming. Just inside the gate and 30 metres to the bus stop from Poggibonsi train station. Worth every penny.

The hotel is in a perfect location as it is on the main street of the city, full of little shops, it is close to parking (you cannot drive into the city), the atmosphere is typical Tuscan, very cozy and comfortable. Our room had a fantastic view of Tuscany, and was very clean and comfortable. Rich breakfast in the restaurant with a wonderful view. Very attentive and kind service. I highly recommend it, it was perfect!

We have just left room 18 with a breathtaking view...with a lump in our throat...beautiful experience, clean and welcoming hotel, kind and welcoming staff...from the lady at the reception to Mrs Francesca always with a contagious smile ...we will definitely be back. Thanks for everything.

Fantastic stay at this property, located in a perfect position along the main street of San Gimignano and a stone's throw from the P2 car park just outside the walls. Beautiful structure, brand new and well-furnished, spacious rooms and the one I chose with a sublime view of the Tuscan countryside. Breakfast is not very rich in variety, but what is present is of quality. The splendid room with glass windows compensates for the rest. Very recommended

We stayed one night in this hotel: a quiet room on the 2nd floor (N°18) overlooking a magnificent view point, comfortable with air conditioning. The buffet breakfast is quality in the room which offers a magnificent view of the valley, and the welcome is pleasant and professional. The hotel is ideally located for visiting the city on foot since it is in the pedestrian zone 30 meters after crossing the San Giovanni gate. A word of advice: knowing that you cannot drive in front of the hotel to drop off your luggage and that the entire city is pedestrianized, it is best to reserve one of the parking spaces offered by the hotel in advance ( 19 euros): the place is in the shade in the basement in a secure car park 150 m away. In short, an excellent value for money address for visiting the city without any worries, especially if you come by car.

A shame that the holiday is over! The hotel is inside the walls on the main street, it is simply fantastic! Room with a view of the street, (ours was n.4) very clean and warm given the season, very kind and friendly owners and staff. A round of applause for the homemade apple pie at breakfast: superb!! The view of the hills from the restaurant room is priceless! It looks like a painting! We will definitely be back! See you soon
