If you like a small intimate hotel, rich in culture and tapestry you cannot go wrong here.
Is beautiful, tasteful and has all of the amenities for your stay.
As well as a four poster bed, lovely and warm shower there is a roof top with a hot tub that is lovely and hot, with sun beds too.
It is so tasteful and exquisite you will be blown away.
The staff clock off early, so you have to remember to have your access codes to get in the front door. The staff were very warm and welcoming to us.
There is a large dining room with an ice maker and microwave.
You’ll love it, just like we did.

Good location, in the center of the old city. The door of the hotel is inconspicuous, but there is something wonderful inside. The room is antique, but a bit small and a bit old.

We love the history and charm of this place. Have been here before. Location is central but off the beaten trail. Given howw close to Fortaleza we feel very safe. We can walk everywhere in OSJ in an easy effort. OSJ is one of our favorite destinations.

We were charmed by the history, artwork, and the atmosphere of Villa Herencia. It was a fun bonus to soak in the rooftop claw foot bath tubs on the lovely roof top deck in the evening! If you are looking for a small historic boutique hotel in the heart of Old San Juan, look no more! We also recommend taking the elevator to the 6th floor of the sister hotel, Casa Blanca, to take in the views.

I loved that the hotel was smack dab in the middle of Old San Juan. The architecture and cultural vibe of the hotel was very authentic.
The hotel had everything I needed. As a solo traveler I was safe and secure. My room, the classic queen, was small, perfect for one, would’ve been a bit tight with two. Outlets were sparse (as expected in a building several hundred years old) and the Flat screen TV didn’t work great. Staff was friendly and welcoming *****.

The property is quiet and out of the busy areas when the cruise ships are in port. It is safe and has a locked front door with a code used by the guests. Lovely and very Old World San Juan. Only thing is that the upstairs room to the left could use a new mattress. Other than that, it’s a great walkable hotel close to many attractions and restaurants.

We stayed at this property back in 2017 and so we wanted to come back as it was a nice property. Since then they stopped serving breakfast and the staff is not even on the property 24 hours.It feels like you are not staying at hotel but rather a persons house. They need bring back the breakfast, have someone there 24 hours and have the staff be more friendly
