I heard the music and stopped in for a coffee. Imagine my suprise when I got the bill 70 pesos. As I am doing a survey of coofee shops wheile my wife is gone for two weeks I can tell you the majority charge 50 to 55 pesos. The guitarist was very good and the atmosphere is relaxing.

This hotel is very well located, right in the middle of the historic centre of San Miguel Allende. The service was polite and the general accommodations are decent and clean, while not deluxe in the least. Unfortunately, the bar next doors blasts Latin dance music until 3:00 a.m., which renders the act of sleeping during your stay absolutely impossible: this is not a faint rumour, we're talking window pane-trembling noise all around you. Until the hotel does not address this noise-insulation problem, it's a completely useless venue (one usually books a hotel in order to get some sleep at night). I would never repeat the ordeal of staying one more night at this hotel.

The most impressive hotel, located at the city center… I feel like in a movie! I stayed in room #19 on 29 October 2022. It’s a 3-bed room and very spacious. Shower is OK so there’s only less and 10 points of water coming out, cannot imagine washing hair with this condition. But it’s a traditional hotel so it’s Ok. There isn’t AC but there’s a fan and because of its high ceilings, it is acceptable. I believe I had left my hat upon checkout and tried to contact the hotel through the website a week later to no response. Can’t really give 5 stars 🤷♀️
