Hotel le Mimose

Hotel le Mimose

📍 Via Nazionale, 32, San Teodoro
★★★ 7.9 (52 reviews)

"The Hotel is well located and close to the center of St Teodoro and 20 minutes from the airport. The best was the breakfast buffet, you can satisfy well your appetite in the morning before going to spend all day out . The staff was very kind and cheerful during breakfast ! The hotel was quiet , not too many around because end of season! I was very disappointed with the size (tiny) of the room , specially the shower (shower head broken and walls with dark moisture) . Is made for very skinny peoples !!!The cleaning of the room was acceptable. Instead of having a big terrace/balcony they can give more space inside the room . Also wardrobes are too old with noisy doors. The garden was completely neglected. Maybe October is not the best time to be around …"

Baglioni Resort Sardinia

Baglioni Resort Sardinia

📍 Via Tavolara, 07052 Lu Fraili di Sotto, San Teodoro
★★★★★ 8.5 (55 reviews)

"Embarrassing services and structure. Indecent situation on the beach. To access you have to cross a fetid and smelly swamp via a dangerous pier with nails and broken beams. There are no toilets and people excrete their waste in the bushes generating a nauseating smell… Resort without services. Virtually non-existent spa with rude staff. They are absolutely not equipped for the wind which is practically always there, with ashtrays or windproof umbrellas etc To be avoided"

"4 star resort if you’re staying in any other room but the apartment. Our room (105) became infested with flying ants and termites on our last night of the trip. Front desk provided us bug spray to deal with the bugs but they kept coming. It was impossible to locate the entry point because there were so many of them. We had to have the kids sleep in our room as I didn’t want them where we had to use the bug spray. On the second night of our trip, the electricity went out in our room and it activated the emergency lights throughout the apartment at 0200. Not the best way to wake up. This was weird as the air conditioner continued to run so at least that was a good thing. I went to the front desk to complain and realized that it had affected the whole hotel as all the other guests were either standing outside their hotel room and the front lobby was packed. Receptionist said it was a problem in the city not caused by them but the street lights and neighboring houses had power and the AC was still running so not sure how you talk that one down. As compensation, they took 20€ off the breakfasts that weren’t included in the hotel apartment booking and gave me a 12 o’clock late checkout from the standard 10am. This hotel is still one of my favorites but selecting that apartment was a bad move. It’s very spartan, does not come with room cleaning but that’s all stated up front when you book. It’s good for a family of 4 to spread out in and we had a terrace to dry off all our beach things after a day out in the sun. Breakfast buffet is good. Also I remember from our first trip the receptionist would provide a map of the neighboring beaches and a code to get a discount for the reservation only beaches. This time I had to ask about it but the receptionist did get us the map and the code after requesting it. It would be cool to provide this to every guest as they checked-in, and for them not to ask about it because this is good information to have."

Hotel Lu Pitrali

Hotel Lu Pitrali

📍 Via Di Lu Pitrali, Monte Petrosu

"The hotel was small and super cozy. Stefano and his family make sure that you really don't want for anything. The rooms are super shcoon and neat. No question is too much for Stefano. He really arranges everything you ask. The breakfast is great and the croissants are delicious. The coffee and cappuccinos are provided by his brother and are excellent! The hotel is close to the beaches and a few nice restaurants that you can ask Stefano."

"Hotel, sleep and breakfast, very welcoming, nice spacious room, with a nice bathroom. Very clean. Abundant, varied and quality breakfast. The owners, who are active in the daily management, are always present and attentive to the needs of the customers. They booked 2 excursions for us, one by dinghy TAVOLARA E MOLARA and one by boat to visit MADDALENA. Absolutely not to be missed. Furthermore, the hotel has a beautiful swimming pool. Highly recommended."

"There were drunk, inconsiderate 18 year olds playing football at like 1am and went to the night club after about every night but on the 2nd last night they had the audacity to, when they accidentally broke their chair while playing football(during the night)to swap the chair for our chair and throw the broken piece into the trees! I am a kid, I may take it more gently, but my Dad got barely any sleep a few nights and I completely sympathize. I consider this outrageous!"

Hotel le Mimose ★★★
"The place is very cute! The food in the restaurant was very good. Breakfast was good. The downside was charging $20 euros to lend a beach towel and the towel was ripped apart. It was a ripoff. I was informed that it was just a bond to get the towel but at the end they just refunded $10 euros."

"The hotel is very simple and well-kept, the staff welcoming and super helpful. The location is truly top: less than 5 minutes from the center and also convenient for going to the beach. On foot it takes 15 minutes to get to the belt while with the bikes available at the hotel only 5. An excellent experience! The breakfast was also very well supplied"

"It's not great for a family as very loud at night until the early hours. Lots of 18-25 year old just looking to party. Great if that's what you are after, otherwise avoid it. Clean and well located for the town centre."

Hotel Costa Caddu ★★★
"We stayed at Hotel Costa Caddu for 7 nights at the beginning of August. It’s a beautiful, peaceful, extremely clean and well-maintained hotel. We stayed in a Garden Room which had its own private veranda/porch that looks out towards the sea, which is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel. We hired a scooter for visiting San Teodoro and other nearby beaches and towns, which were mostly extremely busy because of the time of year. I imaging it must be much quieter in September and October. The hotel’s main asset is its staff – always willing to help and very friendly. One observation (as we are both vegetarians) would be to have vegetarian dishes in the buffet marked as vegetarian, a common practice in many other hotels we have stayed in. Sometimes it was difficult to know which foods on the buffet were meat free, even though they looked as if they were (but weren’t). Otherwise, the food and service is of high quality. Thank you to all the staff at the hotel for a peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable holiday!"

Hotel Sandalyon ★★★
"Stayed with 3 girlfriends for a weekend break. Hotel so reasonably priced we could have the luxury of our own rooms. Blue and white decor relaxing. Breakfast continental and all fresh and delicious. Plenty of tea and coffee. Staff extremely helpful and arranged airport transfers and allowed us to eat on arrival even though it was after kitchen closing time. Food was lovely and good wine. Very short walk to gorgeous La Cinta beach and 15-20 mins to the vibrant town centre with many craft shops and lively bars. We had a fabulous time. Thankyou"
