Bayshore Hotel

Very good experience, Rooms and Bathroom exceptionally clean. Food was lovely, Staff friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend Entertainment was ok, attractive position. Well done to all the Staff and Management.Hopefully return in the future.

The Bayshore hotel Sandown Isle of Wight is a wonderful hotel situated right opposite the pier. The staff are friendly welcoming and nothing is to much trouble. The rooms are very clean and and tea coffee milk and sugar are provided on a tray with mugs and spoons and kettle. The entertainment is very good the food is excellent and the roast beef is the best we have ever had and the portions are great Sandown is a little run down further down the front with hotels closed and buyers not doing anything with them the people on the island are very friendly and they have an excellent public transport system for getting about We are returning in October for another holiday

Our holiday was great thanks to everyone in the hotel , we couldn't have been more looked after. The meals were excellent, the rooms lovely, clean, tidied every day, nothing was a bother and all the staff really cared. Well done and thank you for a wonderful stay. I look forward to returning hopefully next year.

Most of the guests were in the 70 to 80 age bracket, a few had walking sticks and walkers. This is an older hotel on seafront opposite the pier, there are lovely walks along the flat prom in both directions, its about a 45 minute walk to Shanklin to the left outside hotel. all staff we had contact with were polite very helpful and pleasant. The chef deserves special praise, the food was outstanding, huge choice at breakfast, three course meals in the evening with the tenderest meats you could wish for. Waiter service at both meals. Alpha were fantastic.

Just back from the Bayshore Hotel Sandown IOW. Brilliant view from our room. Food , bar, housekeeping all great. Great excursions included and Paul the driver was great funny and very informative. Visited the Wildheart Centre excellent facility. Also rented a beach hut from the Hinks family fabulous. All in all a fantastic holiday.

Stayed here as part of a coach holiday with greenline, hotel is situated right opposite the pier and not far from the town centre. The hotel is looking a bit dated in some parts and could do with a bit of redecoration. Our room was clean, bed a little to hard and pillows to soft for me. Tea, coffee etc replaced daily in rooms and you can also get extra from reception. You get a ticket each day for a complimentary drink in the bar, small glass of wine, half pint of beer or a soft drink, this was a nice bonus. Meals in the restaurant were mostly of good quality, veg could have been hotter. There is several choices each day for evening meals. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of it. I have only given 4 stars as we were given a sitting of 7pm for our meals, which for me is a little late, plus no sooner had you finished 1 course they bought your next so I felt rushed. Also 2 nights the entertainment room was full by the time we had had our meals as the other coach parties were already in there. Evening entertainment was a game of bingo followed by a singer. I would stay again but only if mealtime was earlier.
