"Location is ok. Some of the surfaces looked like they had not been cleaned in a while. Given the "hot spring" in the name I thought there might be a fancy pool are but it just means the hot water in the rooms comes from a hot spring. The sockets in the rooms are Chinese only so international travellers should bring an adapter or a Chinese charger for their devices."

"This was my first time visiting Sanmenxia City, the "Swan City," during a trip to Henan Province, and I stayed at this hotel. Although there was a minor hiccup, it was resolved satisfactorily. A special thank you to Ms. Lei Qian; she was incredibly dedicated, and we left with a pleasant experience. The hotel is very upscale. The 33rd-floor room offers a panoramic view of Tianhe Lake, a truly beautiful sight. The room was spacious, clean, and the bedding was comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful. However, by five-star hotel standards, some of the front desk staff could have been more satisfactory."

"This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel. Last time I stayed in a garden view room. This time I tried the Yellow River Scenic Area room. The room is large and has a balcony. The left side of the balcony looks out to the Yellow River. The scenery is good, and the main reason is that the hotel is in a wetland park. It's quiet here, you can often hear birds chirping, and you can occasionally hear swans at night The waiters in the hotel are very enthusiastic. I would like to thank Wang Chenmo, the deputy lobby manager, for helping me solve the problem enthusiastically and giving me fruits. On Women’s Day, he also gave me a small gift🎁, as well as Aunt Du, the cleaning lady. Seeing my habit of sleeping on hotel pillows, he took the initiative to bring me a small buckwheat pillow. The surrounding environment was poor, just a small roadside guesthouse, and the car was parked in a dusty place; the service was extremely poor, with a rude and overbearing attitude; the facilities were terrible, the toilet lost power in the middle of the night, and I couldn't flush, despite several phone calls to resolve the issue. "I took my child to this hot spring resort during the holiday, and this hotel is definitely one of the best I've ever stayed at. It made me feel right at home. From the pre-arrival call to check-out, every step was handled perfectly. I booked a private hot spring room, which was huge, about 80 square meters. The hot spring tub could easily fit eight or nine people. At check-in, the front desk gave my child some snacks and bath balls. The hot spring water was amazing, around 40 degrees Celsius – perfect for a soak. My child didn't want to leave! Luckily, it's nearby. I'll definitely bring my child back during the Chinese New Year. I highly recommend it; you won't regret it!"

"If you're coming to Shanzhou, you absolutely have to experience a pit-dwelling guesthouse! I highly recommend this one; I stumbled upon it by chance, and it's an absolute gem. The one I stayed in is a renovated century-old courtyard. As you walk down the path, you immediately experience the unique warmth in winter and coolness in summer that these pit dwellings offer. It's truly a summer haven (especially coming from Hangzhou, where it hits a scorching 40 degrees!). In the evenings, a gentle breeze flows through the courtyard, and you can look up to see a sky full of stars. With sunflowers growing everywhere, it's 100 times more comfortable than a hotel. Sitting in the courtyard creates such a wonderful atmosphere. I strongly recommend dining here; they serve incredibly authentic farm-to-table dishes that you simply won't find anywhere else. The Shanzhou specialties like braised carp, braised eggplant, and stir-fried green beans are all so flavorful and incredibly moreish, especially when paired with their handmade steamed buns – you'll want to lick the plate clean! You can eat until you're stuffed for just 30 RMB per person. I can't forget these flavors, and I'll definitely be back if I get the chance!"
