"The family room was decent. The faucet design was truly baffling – it was impossible to get the water temperature right. The service, however, was absolutely fantastic! They provided corn to feed the swans, complimentary mineral water, and snacks. There was also porridge and side dishes in the evening, and breakfast was good too. My only real complaint is the parking. The entrance to the parking lot requires driving over a curb, and the surrounding area is probably the most congested part of town. There's a street next to it that looks like an open-air market, completely lined with stalls and illegally parked cars, making it incredibly difficult to navigate. The hotel rooms generally don't get any sunlight because of the tall buildings to the south, so you have to guess whether it's sunny or cloudy outside."

"This was the worst stay I've ever had at any Meihou hotel. The wontons served for late-night snacks were spoiled; several people in our group experienced problems after eating them. When we complained to the lady who cooked the snacks, she scolded us. The bathroom was also very dirty; the towel rack under the sink was filthy, with water stains and debris. The non-slip slippers in the shower were dirty, and there was even an ashtray in them. By 8:30 am, there was practically nothing left for breakfast. We booked a 32-35 square meter room and upgraded using our membership benefits, but the upgraded room was actually smaller than the original room – very small. Overall, the stay was terrible."

"This is the worst and most bizarre hotel I've ever stayed in. There was absolutely no service, the room was filthy, disposable slippers cost 10 yuan a pair, and bottled water was extra. The problem is, I called to request water, but it never arrived by the time I checked out. The shower water was thin and cold. They only provided one toothbrush, which I didn't even bother asking for. Breakfast was 68 yuan per person, and there was nothing there – no eggs, no milk, and the soy milk was worse than soy juice. Even worse, the room included hot spring tickets for two adults and one child, but I only received two tickets. When I mentioned the missing child's ticket, they said children under 1.2 meters are free. Of course, I know children under 1.2 meters are free, but the problem is I had a child under 1.2 meters, and a child between 1.2 and 1.4 meters needed my ticket. So, I only had one ticket for two adults, and I had to buy another one. The service was terrible; it seemed like the staff only cared about money. For 300 yuan a night in the city, I could stay at Swan City or Swan Lake. Staying here was a complete waste of my money. Even 0.5 stars is an extra reward."

"If you're coming to Shanzhou, you absolutely have to experience a pit-dwelling guesthouse! I highly recommend this one; I stumbled upon it by chance, and it's an absolute gem. The one I stayed in is a renovated century-old courtyard. As you walk down the path, you immediately experience the unique warmth in winter and coolness in summer that these pit dwellings offer. It's truly a summer haven (especially coming from Hangzhou, where it hits a scorching 40 degrees!). In the evenings, a gentle breeze flows through the courtyard, and you can look up to see a sky full of stars. With sunflowers growing everywhere, it's 100 times more comfortable than a hotel. Sitting in the courtyard creates such a wonderful atmosphere. I strongly recommend dining here; they serve incredibly authentic farm-to-table dishes that you simply won't find anywhere else. The Shanzhou specialties like braised carp, braised eggplant, and stir-fried green beans are all so flavorful and incredibly moreish, especially when paired with their handmade steamed buns – you'll want to lick the plate clean! You can eat until you're stuffed for just 30 RMB per person. I can't forget these flavors, and I'll definitely be back if I get the chance!"

"I was particularly dissatisfied with the room and stayed for four nights. The water level of the shower head is so low that it is speechless. It is even lower than the shower head at my own home. I can't even rinse myself clean when taking a shower, let alone washing my hair. I always go out to the barber shop to wash my hair. The service is also very average. If it weren't for the fact that this hotel is close to my sister's home, I really wouldn't have chosen this one. The Hanting Hotel I stayed at last time was much better.
