I recently stayed with the family in this hotel for 6 days, the hotel has a good location, is around 20 minutes drive from the main tourist points and the airport, good breakfast coffee and comfortable beds. But what left it to desire is lack of control of air conditioning, at 10 degrees in the morning and the hotel had no heating because only in the winter there is heating in the rooms, we spent very cold night, The hotel has provided covers, and another thing that we could not use the safe was that they tried to make the safe, but without success. The pool can only be used if you are using a swimming pool that is sold in the hotel, I found strange, because I have already hosted in many hotels and never seen them ask for it. Without that the rooms are comfortable and clean, it happened all right!

The warmest of welcome from a great team at Ugo Hotel. The hotel is well placed in a nice area. It was modern, very light, airy and clean. Our room (334) was on the third floor facing towards what looked like residential apartments. Our only wish was that our view hadn’t been slightly obscured by a wall to another part of the hotel. The reception / lobby / bar was a good place to sit. The main light hanging above made a statement. The room itself whilst not the biggest had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (3 night) during our tour. There were two big, very comfortable beds. This combined with the pillows supplied led to 3 good nights sleep. The second bed was great for laying clothes out and packing ‘ unpacking. The WC / Shower were in the ensuite with the washbasin just outside in an area divided from the bed space by a divider and hanging space. The shower was very good although some might find the floor slippy. There wasn’t a plug in the sink (by design). This was the moment we remembered the travel plug had been left at home. This was an inconvenience when shaving and meant that more water was used than might have been had there been one. We pointed this out as a water saving idea at reception who welcomed the positive feedback. There was good air-conditioning but like most you need to leave one of the key cards in if you want it to continue working when you go out. That said from an energy saving point of view it didn’t take long to cool the room down once we returned. We did turn the AC down at night as like most installations the noise can be a bit of a pain when trying to sleep. There was a good choice of food for breakfast and a nice looking bar with a fantastic team. Not everyone spoke English but we didn’t speak any Spanish but we got by just fine. We had some great Chilean wine and loved the Pisco Sour. Thanks to Laos Silizar for giving me his recipe. There is an enclosed garden area at the back close to the bar with a variety of seating among greenery and to one end a pool. The lifts were quick and we never had to wait more than a few seconds for one. There were two ice cream shops within seconds of the main entrance and a number of nice restaurants. The tallest building in Latin America Sky Costanera was only about a 10 minute walk away. By virtue of its height it has the highest viewing platform in Santiago, from where the 360 degree panoramic view from the 61st and 62nd floors including The Andes is exceptional. Beneath this is a very big shopping centre containing many restaurants of all sorts. We went our for a walk each evening in the direction of the adjoining residential. There were some nice apartment blocks / homes. The area was well lit and felt safe. To summarise we enjoyed staying at Ugo Hotel very much. All of the staff were fantastic. The hotel is very close to the shopping centre and the metro station. The staff is friendly and gentle. The comfortable room is even with a little noisy air conditioning. Ideal for business and shopping, is next to a park. It has a swimming pool.

O café da manhã é servido até às 10h e é bem farto, conta com variedades de frutas, cereais, pães, frios, ovos e linguiça. Os funcionários são bem receptivos e atenciosos. Eles disponibilizam uma marmitinha de café da manhã (sache de café, chá,fruta, sanduíche, iogurte) para que você possa levar no dia dos passeios, basta solicitar até as 21h na recepção. A região realmente não é boa mas o hotel conta com seguranças a disposição caso precise esperar algum uber ou taxi do lado de fora. Foi bem tranquilo pedir carros de aplicativo tanto durante o dia quanto durante a noite. Próximo ao hotel há uma estação da Turbus (estação alameda) e tem um metrô do outro lado da rua

A great little hotel right next to Santa Lucia hill. The staff are very friendly, Raul at reception was extremely helpful with recommendations and general information. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom while small, was well appointed and had a great shower. The continental breakfast was good. The rooftop bar at the hotel is a highlight and Lastarria restaurants and bars are only a short 5 minute walk away. Museums, the theatre and shops are not too far away. Sundays and Mondays are very quiet in Santiago with not much open, including many restaurants and all of the museums. Happy to recommend this hotel.

They have an excellent location near parks and tourist sites in Santiago, and there is a supermarket a few steps, the departments are comfortable with everything necessary to cook, The most important thing departments are very clean because they give more confidence to be there staff is very service and friendly so I recommend 100% this place !!!
