We got married in this venue, and couldn't have wished for a better one! The nature and the views are incredible, all parts of the venue are elegant, tasteful, well maintained, and it also gives you a great feeling of privacy - as if the whole space is there just for you. The food was delicious - all our guests were blown away! But what made the experience really amazing are all the staff members - we were received with such care and attention, all our requests were taken into account, and we felt truly welcome! Also, the room and the hotel breakfast were really nice. Highly recommend this place for any type of celebration!

The place Is historical and very beautiful. Is it just a little complex to reach by car but that’s the characteristic of Madeira! The golf course is beautiful and also the spice is very relaxing. The personnel is very gentle, and the rooms are very beautiful. The only thing is that the rooms are located in place with not a great view as compared to the potentiality of the estate.

Beautiful hotel and gardens, perfect for a relaxing holiday. The accommodation was spacious and tastefully decorated. The food beautifully cooked and presented. The staff were always there to help with our enquiries. Certainly on our list to revisit.

An English Country Hotel set in the beautiful sub-tropical gardens of the Palheiro Estate with a challenging golf course and spa on hand. The staff are exceptionally accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. Shout outs to Luis, Braulio, Carla, Rosa and Carolina. This is the perfect location for a truly relaxing holiday where you can do as much or as little as you wish as there are lots of activities including golf, swimming, tennis, wine tours and sight seeing and the hotel will organise transport or you can use the shuttle services. The food at the hotel far exceeded our expectations and the menus are planned with precision using local produce. A real gem and we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful experience getting married at the Palheiro Estate. As a same sex couple, we felt very welcomed and comfortable at this venue. Communication was good throughout and both Tatiana and Catia were very flexible with our requests where possible which helped reduce stress in the planning process. The estate itself is beautiful, better than we had expected from the photos online and as we were planning our wedding from overseas, we were pleasantly surprised when we visited for the first time. The whole team working on the day were professional and delivered what we had requested. Thank you for contributing positively to a successful and memorable wedding day.

A silver wedding and sport fishing trip combined, while this hotel is outside Funchal high up in the hills, the property is beautiful and service superb. Don't hesitate to book it. Looking forward to a repeat visit soon.
