Keos Hotel

A place that I absolutely do not recommend! We booked a room months in advance and made the entire payment through Airbnb, but a few days before our arrival the host contacts us writing that the August rates had changed and that our reservation was no longer valid. Obviously we ask for explanations without receiving any response. Thinking of a simple mix-up or an automatic message without foundation given the absence of a response, 2 days later we contact the host again to warn of our arrival since the payments had been acquired by the system, but once there they did not let us stay citing the reasons for price changes in August and that this month they use booking and inviting us to ask for a refund from Airbnb, without having carried out the cancellation as required by the regulations. Moral: we remain in the middle of August without a room for 5 days, we start looking for a new solution elsewhere, we lose a good part of the refund of the expense incurred and we inform Airbnb of what happened. P.s. this review aims to open users' eyes to cryptic messages that come from hosts without any feedback. as advised by Airbnb support we immediately cancel reservations because certain managers do not deserve a cent for such behavior!

Prima di scrivere questa recensione, mi sono letta un po' di recensioni sull'hotel e molte le ho trovate assolutamente INADEGUATE. Ho soggiornato all'hotel Keos per una settimana tra luglio e agosto 2022, sicuramente NON venite in questo hotel se cercate la confusione del centro città, NON venite in questo hotel se volete uscire dalla camera fare quattro passi ed essere in spiaggia, NON venite in questo hotel se cercate la freddezza e la poca solarità (senza offesa chiaramente) che caratterizza il popolo albanese, NON venite in questo hotel se non vi piace sentirvi coccolati come in famiglia e infine NON venite in questo hotel se volete spendere tanti soldi perché pensate che sia sinonimo di qualità. L'hotel Keos (dall'esperanto "volere") è l'espressione concreta di una famiglia che ha voluto realizzare un sogno e ci è riuscita perfettamente! Armando, Zeno, Rita e la loro figlia non vi negheranno mai un sorriso o un aiuto di qualsiasi genere! La posizione è strategica per visitare molti luoghi di interesse del sud dell'Albania (ksamil, parco di butrint, l'occhio blu, lukove, argiocastro..) ed è veramente a 10 minuti dal centro! A pochissimi minuti (5) dalla meravigliosa spiaggia libera davanti all'hotel primero. Si è vero se si esce a piedi bisogna fare 200/300 MT di salita ed è anche vero che non c'è l'ascensore! Ma camminare e fare le scale fa bene alla salute!! E sarete ripagati dalla vista spettacolare e dalle colazioni mattutine!!! Grazie di tutto, se torneremo da queste parti, sicuramente ritorneremo da voi! Perché forse ci saranno strutture migliori, più attrezzate e forse più economiche a Saranda, ma sicuramente non ci saranno persone meravigliose come voi! Giuliana e Riccardo
