Hotel Riverside
"A lovely relaxing place with friendly staff. They couldn’t do enough for us and were very proficient at organising the activities we had pre booked such as a jeep safari, canoe ride, safari trek, cultural evening and lifts to/ from the buses. Thank you;)"
Tiger Residency Resort
"The boss’s daughter-in-law is from Hong Kong, China. Haha, the hotel’s travel packages are quite conscientious and they kept introducing us. But their tour guide was a bit annoying and kept asking for tips to the driver."
Hotel Aikawa
"This hotel exudes luxury and offers a wealth of amenities. The staff were very welcoming; we were immediately given a towel to freshen up, which was lovely! The reception area is beautiful, including its own Safari desk, which is great! There's an elevator and two wide staircases, which is unique. You can visit the gym, relax in the spa, and there's a jacuzzi outside—wonderful! There are also cozy outdoor seating areas where you can enjoy drinks and food, open 24/7. A new hotel located just outside the center of Sauraha, in a quiet area, which I really like! A very luxurious and beautiful hotel!"
Hotel Monalisa Chitwan Pvt. Ltd.
"I went there with myy friendd and i havee enjoyed there.Services was excellent and all other staffs are good in their work and the way they givee services was excellent. They managed us different programs that we could enjoy with our friends. Its was really a great stay."
Hotel Wildlife Camp
"The worst experience with staff lied when checking in and different cost while checking out , room shower broken no towels provided unless asked smelly bathroom"
Travellers Jungle Camp
"We enjoyed our stay at this great place! The bungalow-style rooms, located around a quiet and very beautiful garden, are clean and nicely decorated. Each room has its own terrace where you can enjoy breakfast or relax in the evening with your travel companions. The location is perfect, within walking distance of the river. The staff and the family who run the place are very friendly and helpful. They organize nice excursions, both in the national park and in the surrounding area. It’s a great place to unwind."
Hotel National Park Sauraha- Homely Stay and Peaceful Location with Jungle Safari Arrangements
"I can't use enough superlatives to describe our experience at this hotel. Suraj and his family are the most friendly and accommodating hosts we have ever had, anywhere! The hotel is in a fabulous location, a short walk from the riverside and the busy centre, but far enough away to be totally peaceful. Our beautiful room, with private balcony had the perfect view of the sunset. This hotel will arrange everything you need for a successful safari, and use the best guide in the business. Their prices are wonderful too! The room is spacious, with a huge comfortable bed, and it was spotlessly clean. The food is excellent and nothing is too much bother for Suraj. Thank you for giving us a magical time!"

Rainbow Safari Resort
"They made me feel very welcome. There was a problem at first with my A/C and the fan and they fixed it straight away. Everywhere in Nepal has been very hospitable and the service in Rainbow Safari was no different; they were friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place! Thank you for having me!"
River View Jungle Camp
"Overall, it was very good. The owner was welcoming and helpful, and resolved any issues. The services were booked through the owner; remember to bargain, and he'll give you the normal market price. Otherwise, Nepalese people seem to habitually quote a higher price."
Chitwan Gaida Lodge - Animal Lovers & Birdwatchers Paradise
"The lodge is a nice place to stay in Sauraha. Nice rooms, good food, quiet place. More than that, the lodge organized with us an amazing 2 and a half days walking trip in the jungle. Our guides, Laxmi and Manoj, made the experience unforgetable. Both of them were really patient and professional but so funny at the same time. We saw a lot of animals (even a baby rhino !), amazing landscapes and shared a lot about Tharu culture (and Raksy !). Go with them on a trip, you won’t regret it 😉🐯"
Peacock - a Family-Run Hotel
"My friend and I stayed here back in February. We got food poisoning from a nearby restaurant, completely derailing our plans. The staff at peacock, who we had booked activities through, we nothing but amazing in helping rearrange plans and being accommodating. The food here was also great, with the room being very clean and with great facilities. Overall, I cannot recommend Peacock enough for the value."
Rhino Land Jungle Lodge
"We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a package tour that included the room, all meals and the guided tours/safaris. Everything was excellent. Our room was lovely with a large bathroom. Toiletries included body lotion x 1, shampoo x 2 (no conditioner), toothbrush and toothpaste x 2. There was a small fridge that worked well including the freezer. The grounds were large and well maintained with seating around fire pits for cool nights. The breakfast, lunch and dinners provided were buffet style with plenty of variety. Sometimes western style, other times more local food. Lunch and dinners included one dessert dish which wasn't always to my taste. Staff at the front desk and in the dining area were all fabulous. Any small problems were quickly and cheerfully sorted out. The lodge is located in the town area so there are many shops right beside the lodge. Our safari guide, Kapil, was awesome! Not sure I'd remember those instructions on what to do if an elephant, rhino or bear charged me but luckily that didn't happen. If you're staying in the area this is great hotel to choose. Others on our tour were about 2km out of town and while their lodge was nice they felt a bit isolated and their guide wasn't as fabulous as ours!"
Jungle Safari Lodge Chitwan National Park Sauraha
"Stayed for 2 nights under fullboard as it was booked through our Travel Agent. We paid extra to get the room Upgrade but it was diffent than the pictures which they used for advertisement! AC wasn’t cold on our 1st day and had to inform them to fix immediately. The furniture seems old, bed was too soft, TV not working as it stated no signal, minibar fridge also not working properly, room not soundproof. Appreciate the Anniversary arrangement. They need major refurbishment and improveme the cleanliness to be able to stay competitive."
Hotel Parkland
"Stayed here as part of our tour around Nepal and enjoyed not only our stay at the hotel but also the various activities offered by the hotel. The Rhapti River boat ride gave us a chance to see so many beautiful birds and also the Gharials and crocs. Our guide, Hari, who took us on the excursions - jungle walk, jeep safari and boat ride was very knowledgeable and also very friendly - very passionate about willife and so did his work with a lot of pride and dedication. The hotel itself, in a setting not too far away from the reserve brought us very close to nature. we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 day stay here"
CHITWAN FOREST RESORT
"This place is horrible. We stayed in the bungalows So I can not comment on the new block. Our first ssue was the bathroom. The Taps were loose, and they placed toilet cleaning Blocks in the sink plug hole. Obviously to hide some kind of smell. However this made our whole room smell like a mens urinal. We had no hot water to shower, for the duration of our stay. But Bespite telling reception. Nothing was done. On speaking with other guests. They all hand the same issues The food is 2 options. 1 vegetarian and 1 meat or fish option However, our main issue was the noise. There is a club/ bar which played loud music until 02 00am. Once that is finished the neighbours' 3 dogs barked until dawn. We i mentioned this to one of the staff though it was very funny Whilst I acknowledge the hotel is cheap. The basis of any hotel is goodnights sleep and hot water to shower If you want some peace and quiet Look elsewhere."
