Savannah Hotels with Airport pickup service

A high dollar room that’s not much more than a budget hotel. I’ve wanted to stay here for years, and it was just disappointing. I only gave it 2 stars because hey…I woke up in Savannah❤️. The lobby stank, the hall to the elevator smelled like vomit, the toilet won’t flush, the tv is set on volume 84, but you can barely hear it, the floors were dirty. To no fault of the hotel, there’s also heavy building construction next door, so it’s impossible to sleep in because of all the beeping from the equipment…again, not the hotel’s fault. I wouldn’t spend my hard earned money to come here again.

This hotel is not far from the historical district, but the suites are excellent, and less expensive than downtown. You can easily drive into the historic district, park and enjoy what there is to see there. We have stayed at this Embassy Suites several times over the years, and have always had a pleasant stay. These are true suites, with a separate bedroom, separate sitting area all insulated from any noise with actual doors that close. Most hotels that advertise suites are in fact only oversized rooms. This property has an evening reception Monday through Thursday, with complimentary drinks, wine, beer, liquor. There is a very light assortment of snacks, but not much. In years past they would serve hot appetizers, but those days are gone. They also serve a cooked to order hot breakfast in the mornings. Very good, lots of items to choose from. If you want quiet, newer, and clean this is a good choice while visiting Savannah.

First, the good: the room was perfectly fine: well-cleaned and surprisingly spacious, with a nice desk, too (rare these days). Check-in staff was congenial and good. Now, the downside: (1) the place is definitely showing its age, & in need of a ”refresh.” At the very least, fresh paint would help., but perhaps more could be done. (2) more seriously, when I passed by the food service area (kitchen just behind it) the evening of my arrival, there was a really putrid smell (rotten fish? very stale grease?) that was stomach-turning. I had my $15 credit toward food, and had planned on breakfast, but after that I didn't want anything coming from that kitchen. So, I left early and got breakfast down the road.

Great Hotel. The staff was fantastic. They offer a shuttle service to Tanger outlets so husbands can relax at the hotel and wives can enjoy shopping. They also offer a restaurant next to the lobby with delicious food. Pool chairs are very comfortable.

Located just 5 minutes away from Savannah Airport, this is a great place to stay if you either want great value or need a quick layover to another destination. The hotel is clean, the staff is both friendly and helpful. While I only saw one elevator. It seemed to handle the needs of the hotel nicely. Our room was spacious and came with a small kitchenette with toaster, range too, microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. The bathroom was clean. The shower worked well though it takes a while for the water to get hot. The bed was firm and comfortable. Got restful sleep and got the back support I needed. Small air-conditioned exercise room with two treadmills, elliptical, and bench with some weights. I like the thick double-paned windows; kept our room super quiet.

This place is recently updated, we just stayed over night on trip to florida, didn't stay for breakfast. Front desk was great, very friendly and helpful.Everything was clean and fresh, I felt very safe in the area. Bed was very comfortable.

Many hotels are concentrated here. The rooms are nice and you can see that they are newly renovated. The bathroom is relatively large. The outdoor air conditioner is very noisy. The soundproofing in the room is not good. There are all kinds of noises even at night.

Good stay… wish there was a microwave/ or coffee pot for the room… over all the room was clean & quite. The bed was very comfortable. No issues. Lots of carbs & very little protein options for breakfast. Wish for more protein options I almost gave this a 3 because not having a coffee pot/microwave in room

Stayed here upon arrival late at night for a quick Savannah vacation. Seemed to be the best option after reading reviews here. It was fine, the free shuttle easy to find, the front desk friendly and helpful, the breakfast appreciated. There is also a ”Suite Shack” with snacks that you can microwave in your room if you missed dinner like we did. The outdoor pool looked nice but we had not time the next morning. The room was warm so we ran the fan all night which was not particularly quiet, though not because of outside noise. Probably my only real complaint is that the sheets felt old and worn, and we could have used more pillows, but for how late we arrived (midnight), we weren't going to start making special requests. Hired a rideshare to move to downtown Savannah the next morning.
