The Waves

The rooms are spotlessly clean and breakfast was really great. All the ingredients were top quality. Best coffee ever too! You can see the owners really care and work hard. Everything has a high quality from the bedding to the crockery. We only had the chance of one night away but we would definitely come again hopefully for a few more nights.

We enjoyed a very comfortable stay at The Waves. Chris and Emma are friendly welcoming hosts. Convenient for the SPA, town centre and sea front with plenty of eating places. Our room (5) has a super comfy bed, seating area with a sofa and a good shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

stayed here for a 3 night break,expecting it to be nearer to the seafront than what it is.the host was welcoming but only saw at breakfast time.room was smaller than expected with a narrow window,1 chair,double bed,shower cubicle and separate basin and toilet.shower gel,handwash and shampoo supplied.good sized bath sheets and smaller hand towels x2 of each.pillows were too flat for my liking.kettle and the usual sachets supplied and replenished every day plus 2 pack biscuit,very squeaky single wardrobe door.shower basic and couldn,t really get a good steady temperature with it.on top floor,2 flights of stairs of 38 steps in total.decent choice for breakfast although we were missing cereal on the first day,only 1 sausage,1 whole plum tomato,ramekin of beans,2 bacon,choice of egg,about 3/4 mushrooms halved .1st day we got toast on breakfast plate with cooked breakfast,if you ask for a variety of toast you get 6 halves in total in toast rack as opposed to 2 halves each, lovely homemade preserves.menu not clear as we ordered 1 item from the cold selection each but noticed a couple had more.too far to find a pub serving food,took us an hour to find one.a little over priced for what we got,parking on street and you do get a free parking permit but both sides full of cars,
