Scenic Hotels in Sukhothai

"A lovely green hotel with a scenic pond, large swimming pool, and lush landscaping full of flowers, trees, and birds. The atmosphere is peaceful and pleasant. However, the rooms and amenities feel somewhat worn and not particularly fresh. The bar and front desk staff were friendly and helpful, but the spa was disappointing — the Thai massage was not good and significantly overpriced. The hotel provides bottled drinking water in the room, but additional refills are charged, which feels unusual at this level. Transportation logistics are also not ideal. Ride-hailing services are very limited in the area, and the hotel offered airport transfer at 1,300 THB, while a pre-booked Grab cost only 260 THB — a very large difference. Overall, the stay was fine but inconsistent. The beautiful setting is a strong point, but some aspects need improvement."

"We stayed for three consecutive days, rented a car, and explored all the attractions around Sukhothai. Overall, it wasn't crowded, there were many historical sites, and the scenery was beautiful. If you have time, you can explore at your own pace and appreciate it fully. There's a small 24-hour Big C supermarket and a self-service laundry station within 1 kilometer of the hotel, which is quite convenient. Airports are usually perceived as busy, but Sukhothai's airport is very unique—a garden airport. It's worth experiencing if you have the chance."

"The room was clean and there was fan inside (no aircon). But it still wasn't fresh enough inside a room. It was too hot even with opened window. Bedsheet was clean as well but it was cheap made from polyester. Mattress was tough. They also offer a normal blanket (not just the second linen) and towel (also made from polyester). It was quiet in the room. As for bath and toilet it was kind of local one but it was also clean. There was kind of hot water (but it wasn't necessary because everywhere inside and outside was too hot), no any shampoo/shower gel but there was soup and toilet paper. There was no any kettle in the room. Every time you need a hot drinking water you have to go to reception desk to have it. Internet connection was too much unstable and speed was too slow. I just almost had no possibility to use it. Located in 5 mins walking distance from bus terminal and has an option for bike/motorbike rental. The staff was accomodating and friendly."

"If you arrive at Sukhothai Historical Park (also known as Sukhothai Old Town), you can call a TUKTUK car to the resort, 100 baht is the most! In fact, it is more like a family village. There are small wooden houses on the outskirts of the field. The exterior is inconspicuous, but the inside is still very clean. The shopkeeper's aunt and her son are very enthusiastic. When registering the passport, she will prepare iced watermelon and a refrigerator for drinking water for you; she will also tell you travel guides and give you a map! The next morning, although breakfast is not included in the room rate, my aunt will still prepare breakfast, coffee and fruit for you. There is a very friendly cat in the resort. She only has a soft spot for boys. She will come to play with you and act like a baby. When I got up at 5 o’clock the next morning, I wanted to ride a bike to watch the sunrise, but on the road, there were hordes of wild dogs chasing and barking all the way. The five kilometers of the road were really full of wild dogs because there were no street lights. , I use my mobile phone to illuminate while avoiding these wild dogs. If it weren’t for car technology, I’m afraid it would have become dog food! Therefore, if you want to see the sunrise, it is best to discuss with the owner and let them send it! Otherwise, life alone cannot be guaranteed! If I hadn't run into a family on the road, and the uncle would take me back to the hotel in a car, I would have been so scared that my legs were so weak that I would not be able to ride the car! By the way, wild dogs will not attack the locals! The hotel aunt will help you book a bus ticket to Chiang Mai, and then send you to the Old Town Bus Station. It's just that the bus is really long, and can't stand it for more than six hours! It is recommended to go to Chiang Mai first, then train to Phitsanulok, and then to Sukhothai. Anyway, I have agreed with my aunt, and I will go next year!"

"This was our second time visiting Sukhothai, and we chose this hotel again. For us, who love the Thai style, it was a truly wonderful hotel. The staff were all very kind, and we had a pleasant stay. The breakfast was simple, but it was more than enough for us since we don't eat meat. Thank you very much."

"The hotel's facilities are a bit old, but the environment is fantastic. It's truly great value for money. All the staff are patient and friendly. There's a folk dance performance at 8 PM, so you can enjoy dinner and a show. You can also book to participate in a 'Bushi' (alms-giving) ceremony in the morning. I read previous reviews about mosquitoes, so I brought my own electronic mosquito repellent. The hotel also provides mosquito repellent spray. In conclusion, I didn't get bitten. The location is very convenient; it's a 10-minute walk to the historical park. It would be even better if bicycle rentals were available."

"I loved this hotel.  Owner and staff were friendly and helpful.  Location is fabulous- close to historical park and night market/Main Street, but far enough away that it’s very quiet. Breakfast buffet was excellent, many different dishes that changed each day.  Free coffee, tea, water, fruit available at all times. And free use of bicycles to explore the historical park.  Bed is a bit hard, and it would have been nice to have screens on balcony window so I could sleep with the windows open instead of using A/C, but otherwise this place is excellent.  Would definitely stay again."

"Nice and clean hotel but we stayed only one night after long drive we need a good sleep but we can’t sleeping because of the noise the dogs barking and the hotel it not have a good insulation of the noise we can hear it also the staff is talking quite loud."

"The hotel is a bit old, and most people probably come for the Loy Krathong festival. Prices are quite high during Loy Krathong. The rooms are large and have all the necessary amenities like TVs and bathrooms. Breakfast is included; it's a buffet with Western bread and toast, as well as Thai food. The taste is decent, and the receptionist is very helpful. However, the room cleanliness could be improved; there was a lot of dust in the corners, and the water pressure was low, making the water temperature difficult to control. Overall, it's not bad, just some minor areas need improvement."
