"We were tracing some family ancestry higher up in the mountains and traded in some Hilton points for a night here. This hotel was an amazing experience. We weee out late on our search and missed dinner but I really wish we wouldn’t have based on the outstanding and complimentary breakfast. Quick shout out to Davies at the desk, Andrea and Kathrin in the restaurant and a fantastic young lady at the desk on Saturday morning whose name I regretfully missed. You guys and this hotel are awesome!!! We will be back for more mountain tranquility and pampering."

"Great for those who want some freshness even in August, a living in nature where the only noises are the cows' cloaks at the grassroot and the light stream mosquito. Very nice and also available staff in satisfying the client in the most strange requests; even the technician came to us to resonate TV at 10 p.m. because we did not see channel 5 well (the problem of the whole valley), Rooms in typical mountain style that would be a little refreshing, cleaning and hygiene to improve, delicious and abundant food (the only inconvenience last night I found white celophan in lasagne and the chef apologised). "The hotel is a very, very basic hospitality hotel, this is not going to be a pleasant stay if you are with the family. There is nothing to do with children of any age, the swimming pool is cold and you need to pay for a bathrobe which isn't in the information about the hotel when you book. There is no complimentary coffee and tea set in the room! Not even a single bottle of water. Also, water isn't available for free in the entire hotel!! Shocking, sad and very unexpected when they ask you to pay for the battle of water with your dinner (€3 per bottle!) when there is no access to even tap water in the restaurant. Unbelievable!! Apparently, the hotel has been renovated but in the 21st century, there is not even one USB socket to charge your phone or computer!!! Be aware of this!!! Food is very limited to basic and often leftovers from the previous day, not always fresh bakery and you will not have coffee or tea with your dinner - unless you pay extra!! I would not recommend it and never come back here again. None of these things isn't clearly stated in the hotel information, so when you finally come here you are going to be very unpleasantly shocked"

"Very happy with our stay at Adlernest hotel. We travelled as a group of 8. The staff were very accommodating and helped us sort out the very late check in. Rooms were very nice - the family suite in particular was superb. Food was exquisite, really enjoyed it. Great bar and really good spa where you can relax. Small but well equipped gym. Definitely will stay here again and recommend to everyone."
