We stayed at the Premier Inn in Seaton for one night and really enjoyed it. From the moment we checked in, everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean as was the restaurant where we had breakfast in the morning. It was a very short walk to the seafront where we had a lovely walk into town. Of special note was Dean, who was on duty when we came down for breakfast in the morning. He was really helpful and told us all about things to do in the area. We would definitely use this hotel again.

We had a pleasant stay in Seaton for two nights in a family room. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant each morning (the restaurant is fairly small so best to get in between 7-8am). The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It was also very quiet and we weren't disturbed by any other guests etc. The only downside to our stay was the initial check-in experience where we had to wait around 40 minutes due to a couple of families in front of us who were disputing some details of their booking. Perhaps this was just bad luck but also the self check-in machines were out of order so we just had to wait. We were frustrated as it was 8pm and we were very tired after a busy day. Once we checked in though we did enjoy our stay, it was just a frustrating start. We would stay at the hotel again.

During a 10 day walk along the SW coast path, I had to make an unplanned stop in Seaton. I arrived at the Premier Inn exhausted after a long day walking with no booking, hoping I could get a room. The manager, Dean was on duty at the desk and dealing with other guests when I crawled through the door. He acknowledged me immediately and said he would be with me soon. This small gesture is so important I think and speaks volumes about the kind of manager Dean is. I collapsed on a sofa near the reception and waited. Just a few minutes later Dean came over, tablet in hand and proceeded to guide me through the booking procedure, helping me to save money in the process. I took quite a while to get this done because of technical issues with the website process but Dean was very patient with me, all while dealing with other customers who came to the desk with their own enquiries. Dean secured me a requested quiet room and got me on my way. I have historically avoided Premier Inn's because of a bad experience years ago but this time I must say I was very impressed with every aspect of my stay. The whole building is modern, clean and well organised. All the staff I spoke to including kitchen staff, restaurant staff and of course the manager were friendly, polite and helpful. The room was very quiet, immaculately clean with pristine sheets and a comfortable bed. The price for 1 person for 1 night without breakfast was GBP 108 which I think is very expensive but this hotel was the cheapest anywhere along the route I was walking from Pool to Budleigh Salterton (about 100 miles). In short, bravo to the Premier Inn team at Seaton, you have restored my faith in your hotels. A very special thanks to Dean who is everything a hotel manager should be and more.

This is such a friendly premier inn , the staff are amazing. Francesca and her singing mum have made us feel very welcome . Elliot who checked us in and I think it was Jodie our lovely waitress. We needed a meal and even though the restaurant had closed 10 minutes earlier the chef agreed to serve us . All the staff have been great and go that extra mile . We are having a lovely stay with the beach minutes away , Tesco across the road if you need anything. Great stay all round.

We had a few issues with the room which when mentioned to the manager, Dean, were sorted straight away. He also asked us a couple of times during our stay if everything was okay. The hotel was clean and tidy. There was ample food for breakfast and a good choice on the evening menu. The staff were all helpful and obliging. Only complaint was the car park is privately owned so hotel guests get a reduced parking charge which I did think was expensive.

There are no opening windows in this hotel. The ventilation system does not work effectively. Many rooms face south. We slept poorly as a result of this. There was no mention of this when we made our booking Not up to the usual Premier Inn good standard.

Reception staff scarce and one one incredibly rude. Wouldn't let us check in at 2.30....made us wait and then queue at 3.00 with other disgruntled customers. Rooms are not very clean. Towels don't dry as there's nowhere to dry them and you have to ask, then wait for dry ones. Room wasn't cleaned when it should be. Generally the hotel is ok if you're not fussed about cleanliness and dry towels. Location is good and there's parking (£8 for 24hrs). It's a noisy hotel with doors banging and rooms are not soundproofed.

Lovely hotel & great location in Seaton with lots of on site paid parking. 3 minutes walk to the beach, Tesco & Fuel across the road and short drive to Lyme Regis & the Jurassic Coast. Hotel staff including Dean, Jodie & Nathan made us feel like special guests. The meal deals and great food made eating very economical especially for us international guests. We loved the retro prawn cocktails! Would definitely stay here again.

The room itself was okay with comfy beds just like any other Premier Inn Hotel Room you would expect. However, problems did occur when trying to have dinner at the restaurant in the evening as there was only a scarce amount of things that were available on the full menu. One morning, breakfast food was at a bare minimum with not any milk available. Overall, slightly disappointed but the room has made it bearable and the location is great as only a 2 minute walk to the beach, tram e.t.c.
