The Mayadan restaurant on site is nice for a food and wine experience. However, I cannot say the same for the accommodation. The rooms are very poorly maintained, uncomfortable and old. The room we were first placed in - the main building - had a strong toilet smell in the downstairs room. We changed to the upstairs one, yes the smell went away but nothing has changed in the rooms. It is impossible to use the bathroom. When you take a shower the entire bathroom floods. The furniture inside is broken, the towels are torn and holes. The number of staff is insufficient. You feel this especially during breakfast. After a certain hour you cannot find a cup/glass to drink tea. On the second day of our stay we witnessed the employees arguing among themselves at two different times. The breakfast itself is also sloppy. You do not have the chance to receive any comfort and service you expect from a vineyard hotel. Throughout our stay we said "doesn't this hotel have an owner? What a shame for this entire facility". Because it is obvious from the carelessness that there is no one in charge. (Like the carelessness of the employees in the guest parking lot washing their own cars with foamy water and leaving the place and other cars covered in mud)
