BLooks great and we booked and paid in adance for a niight on our return journey north. Now less than 2 weeks to go and they have suddenly cancelled on us! Presume they have had a better offer but it is not a great advert for the hotel. So disappointed.

The Tushielaw is a gem of a find, hidden away in the Scottish Borders near Innerleithen. We’ve had dinner here a few times and the menu changes regularly, always with a great choice of dishes. It’s a cosy little bar with a few tables and an open fire. The new owners are friendly and welcoming

After a particularly busy period we booked the Tushielaw Inn, lured by the promise of tranquility and beautiful scenery. We were not disappointed on either front. What we didn't expect however was such conviviality. A super, hearty meal was accompanied by very attentive service from Alfie and Blue, who were extremely good boys and made us feel welcome. The human members of the team also made us feel right at home, and a comfortable bed and a complimentary wee dram of single malt were the cherry on the cake. Great breakfast the next day set us up nicely.

Cosy Inn, set in the middle of the Borders. Wonderful view from our room. Friendly hosts, very nice traditional breakfast, I can recommend the locally reared Haggis. Trip advisor want my review to have at least 200 characters apparently not sure why, some middle managers hoping to justify their existence probably 😄

Terrible. Food was overpriced and shocking, Alan (the owner i presume) was so rude to us and we didn’t receive the food we ordered. Do not go here If you want to save money and time. The Aroma of the small room was an awful stench and the food took a long time to come. Awful, never again.

Food and drink was OK and not overly priced. We had a roast dinner. Manager was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Had a lovely outside space and was dog friendly. Would return if we were in the area
