Savoy Hotel Myeongdong Reviews

Location is great. Just outside Myeongdong Exit 6. Though have to climb a flight of stairs up. But alternately can exit by Exit 7 and ride the escalator up. Room was spacious for 2 adults & 2 kids. We enjoyed our stay at Savoy.

Located in the heart of Myeongdong and you can't say anything bad just because the location alone is a perfect spot for any travelers.

Very close to Myeongdong Station. It is in the busiest street in Myeongdong. There is a convenience store below. The temperature is very good. After walking around at night, you can go back to the hotel and sleep. The service staff speaks good English and is easy to communicate with. I will definitely stay there next time. I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

The hotel is located in the center of Myeongdong, and there are many shops and food carts nearby for everyone to shop and find food. In addition, there are a large number of souvenir shops, beauty product stores and clothing stores nearby, making shopping very easy for tourists. Visitors can return to the hotel immediately after shopping to drop off their loot. 

Very convenient to travel, close to shopping cosmetics.

Rooms are only available at 3pm. Check-out is required before 11am. Even if you ask for a one-hour delay, the waiter's attitude is bad. You must return your room card to the counter and take it back from the room before you can check out. If you lose your room card, 10,000 won per ticket!

The air conditioner in the room is so noisy that it keeps me awake all night. There are guests making loud noises at two or three in the morning. You cannot dispose of garbage in the room. You have to take it away by yourself. If there is garbage, you need to pay for it. I am really speechless. The hotel front desk has a rude attitude. I can't even say hello. I can't think of any reason to choose this hotel except the convenient location. If you want to try the feeling of not being able to sleep, you can choose this hotel

1 The location of the hotel is in the center of the city. It is right in the street selling snacks in Myeongdong. It is a 5-minute walk from Myeongdong Subway Station and 6-7 minutes from Shinsegae Department Store and Lotte Department Store. I feel that the price/performance ratio is unbeatable. 2 The hotel is very old and has been renovated. The overall style is Japanese, and the toilets also have toilet seats. Room 3 is just right. The twin room is bigger than the double room for some reason.

The room is rather compact but still comfortable for a family of 3. It can be slightly noisy but no big deal. Location is very convenient as it is near the metro and airport bus stop.

This is the hotel I always use when traveling to Korea. It's close to Myeong-dong Station, so it's convenient to go anywhere. I'm glad that there is a convenience store right below the hotel.
