Glue Hotel Dongdaemun ★★★
"Overall, a pleasant stay. The room was small but very clean, with a lovely view from the upper floor. Daily housekeeping and friendly staff made the experience comfortable. Early check-in wasn’t possible, but luggage storage at reception was convenient. The location is excellent — close to major attractions, cafés, shops, and public transport. Easy access from the airport: a direct bus 6011 to the Changgyeonggung Palace (about an hour), then just a 10-minute walk. Minor downsides: limited hangers and storage space, and the complimentary water bottles weren’t replenished every day. Soundproofing could be better, but I was lucky to have quiet neighbors. Overall, a great option for a short stay."
NINE TREE BY PARNAS SEOUL MYEONGDONG 1 ★★★
"This hotel's only redeeming quality is its convenient location, and nothing else! The room was tiny, and the mirror was directly facing the bed. We checked in at night, and since we were hungry and wanted to grab a quick meal, we just decided to make do. But in the middle of the night, my daughter started screaming, which startled me. It was just my daughter and me, and we didn't speak the local language, so I stayed up all night with the lights on until morning when I contacted my husband back home and asked him to reach out to Trip.com! My daughter and I went to the outlet mall. Trip.com was very responsible and helped me contact the hotel, saying they could change our room, but it had to be before 2 PM! You can imagine, with the outlet mall being over an hour's bus ride away, how could I possibly get back before 2 PM? That day, my daughter and I were stuck in that dreadful room again! The only good thing was that Trip.com contacted the hotel and had them cover the mirror for me! Because the bed and mirror were less than 30 centimeters apart, it took the hotel staff a long time to tape up the cloth, as there was no space for a stool! Plus, this room, 809, had intermittent vibrating noises in the middle of the night! We didn't get a new room until the third day! A male front desk staff member who spoke Chinese contacted me, and he was very kind, showing me to the new room."
stay sai
Minimalist accommodation with a cosy atmosphere, ideal for short city stays and young travellers.
Oriens Hotel & Residences Myeongdong ★★★★
"Facilities: A bit old-fashioned, the hotel shows its age. Hygiene: Decent, the cleaning was thorough. Environment: Very convenient, not far from Myeongdong. Service: The front desk staff was welcoming."
HOMES Red Myeongdong ★★★
"stayed with my 17 yo. She loved all the amenities. I’m too old for such design though. But the rooftop is definitely wow for all ages. Breakfast was nice, room was ok with great shower. Try not to loose the keycard or u will be charged"
Brooklyn Blues Hotel ★★★
"The room design is very nice and modern. The hotel is conveniently located close to Olive Young, restaurants, supermarkets and coffee shops. There is also a coffee shop on the ground floor. The staff are attentive and friendly, especially compared to many other hotels. The overall atmosphere feels cozy and homely, making the stay very comfortable. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from both the subway station and the airport bus stop, which is quite convenient. Overall, I was very impressed and value for money. My only minor comment is that some noise from neighbouring rooms and corridors can sometimes be heard. However, it did not affect my overall stay. I would definitely consider staying here again."
N. Joy stay Dongdaemun ★★★
"I was on a business trip and only needed a place for one night, so I just picked a random hotel, but it turned out to be quite good! 1. They have a ramen machine, so you can enjoy Han River ramen even if you don't go to the Han River itself 😄 2. The location is quite interesting; it's in the Dongmyo alley where GD went shopping in 'Infinite Challenge.' I happened to be there on a weekend, and the whole street was bustling, completely different from those influencer-heavy streets. 3. The hotel isn't very big, a bit like a quaint, charming home, which I personally prefer. So, I was quite satisfied. 4. The room isn't huge, but it has everything you need. The sheets and towels were clean. It's hard to find a place like this at this price point. I'd recommend this to friends who don't like overly lively places and prefer to experience authentic Korean culture. The price is reasonable too, making it suitable for those on longer trips. I'll definitely try staying here for a few more days next time."
ROELA GUEST HOUSE ★★
Koreana Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel boasts an excellent location; the airport shuttle stops right outside, and the subway station is also very close. The service attitude was superb, and the hotel was clean and hygienic."

Hotel Ocean Park 9
"Very comfortable for a single person or a couple. The staff is very nice and they have a laundry room you can use."
Kensington Hotel Yeouido
"The hotel has a more traditional style, and the service is quite good. Some of the rooms seem to have been renovated, and most areas are decent. However, the bathroom floor in the bathtub area was very slippery when showering. There are many dining options right out the back door of the hotel, and it's not too far from the subway station. Booking in advance makes it excellent value for money."

"The hotel's location is fantastic, just a 2-minute walk from the subway station, and right next to Lotte Department Store. The room is spacious, and the bed is large and comfortable. The service is proactive and warm. Although the price is a bit high, I still feel it's well worth it. The overall experience was superb! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Seoul!"
Sono Calm Goyang
Premium luxury retreat with elegant rooms, spectacular city vistas, close KINTEX proximity, and world-class guest facilities.
Mayfield Hotel Seoul
"It was very clean, and the service attitude was excellent. However, the new building had a strong smell from the wood paneling, almost like formaldehyde, which was a bit overwhelming."
Hamilton Hotel Itaewon
"Disclaimer: I DID NOT checked into the hotel. My review is more on my experience on my request for cancellation due to some misfortune befallen my family member prior to the trip. I have to take a difficult decision to CANCEL altogether my pre-planned trip to South Korea to stay with my family. The hotel policy for my booking was non-refundable which I can understand I will not get the refund. I have informed to request for cancellation prior and they denied outright my cancellation due to hotel policy. Subsequent to that, another email comes in - there is another policy that I have to pay one night stay due to No Show when I already informed my request to cancel. It leaves a bitter taste from my experience with this hotel unfortunately that I have to leave a bad ratings/review. Hopefully the hotel can exercise some decency and compassion towards hotel guest like me in future. Thanks."
Simdo Hotel&Spa Sillim by Anook
"The mattress was dirty and the sheets felt damp. I woke up every morning itching all over. The air in the room wasn't great, and the bathroom had a sewage smell. They didn't provide toothpaste or toothbrushes, and the towels didn't look very clean either. The only upside was its proximity to Metro Exit 8. I won't be staying here again."
Nine Tree Premier ROKAUS Hotel Seoul Yongsan
"Had a great stay at Nine Tree Premier ROKAUS Hotel Seoul Yongsan. The hotel is very new, modern, and extremely clean. The location is super convenient — there is a large shopping mall right next to the hotel, and the subway station is nearby as well. There are also many restaurants around the area, making it very easy to find food anytime. The staff were friendly and the facilities were excellent. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Seoul!"
UH FLAT THE SONGDO
Contemporary apartments featuring a rooftop swimming pool, modern living spaces, and convenient access to Songdo’s parks, shopping, and dining.
Hotel Park Habio
"Booked a stay at Habio with a friend. I really appreciate the hotel staff for their excellent service, from the email communication before check-in to the thoughtful arrangements upon arrival – they were all so nice! It takes about 2 hours to get there from Incheon Airport by subway, and KSPO is only about 25 minutes from the hotel, which is super convenient! There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby, as well as CU and OY convenience stores. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time."
ROYAL HOTEL SEOUL Myeongdong
"My best friend and I always stay here whenever we go to Korea. It's super convenient for shopping and dining. We'll definitely be back! There's a Da Pan Ji, Wangbijib, and Odagane right downstairs – it's amazing. No complaints besides the room being a bit small."
Nouvelle Hotel and Spa Seoul Jongro by Aank
"This hotel offers incredible value for money! The room decor is really cozy, and it even has a bathtub. You definitely won't find accommodation like this for such a great price in Seoul. Highly recommended! I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip!"
Blue Ocean Hotel 3
"I stayed here alone and it was great. There's a convenience store nearby, which was very helpful. I was also relieved that the front desk staff spoke good Japanese."
