Hi Seoul Hostel Myeongdong Central ★★
"Room type: 5m square for single occupancy Pro: Locate at the beginning of the Myeongdong walking street, within 5 mins walking distance from Myeong Dong Station. Window can be opened but cannot smoke, meanwhile the noise from outside blocked very well. Staff at check out will help u to carry the luggage if u can find a staff. Room is clean with a strong hair dryer, unlimited Bottles of water, water machine that provides hot water in Corridor, and there is a mini fridge under the bed. The room is 5m square but it is enough to put a big size luggage. Most important, bed and blanket is soft. Con: No Lift! From my picture u will see the entrace of the hostel, it is locate at 3rd and 4th floor. check in is mainly rely on kiosk locate on 3rd floor, so better not assume there will be staff to help u. And be prepared that the closest Myeongdong station exit is No.4 which has not lift too, only stairs. Wall is thin, so it depends on your luck that if u have a noisy neighbour or not. I can hear clearly when my neighbour talking on phone."
Oriens Hotel & Residences Myeongdong ★★★★
"I have stayed here as the business traveller and i found this place very good. I highly recommend to plan you stay here if you are in seoul as this is very close to the seoul tower and other tourist locations."
Hotel Newv Gangnam Seoul ★★★
"The hotel is currently undergoing significant renovations on its ground floor. Consequently, the reception has been temporarily relocated to a smaller room on the 5th floor. Guests must navigate through the renovation site when entering and exiting the premises daily. The hotel room itself is commendably clean and comfortable. However, in adherence to government green policies, the hotel no longer provides amenities such as toothbrushes and toothpaste. Furthermore, it lacks a bathtub, which deviates from the illustrative photo presented on the booking platform. Its location is highly advantageous, situated merely 300 meters from Seolleung MRT Station (Lines 2 & 3), offering convenient access to major tourist attractions. Additionally, a diverse array of restaurants and cafes can be found in the immediate vicinity."
D.A.L Premium Capsule Hotel(WOMAN/MAN ONLY)
"The hotel is very close to Dongdaemun Exit 4 and the bus stop. Walking alone at night might be a bit scary, but for a solo traveler, it's a clean and perfectly adequate hotel. For breakfast, they offer bread and toast, as well as instant noodles. They even provide a complimentary eye mask and toothbrushes."
COMOCASA residence ★★
"convenient location, a few minutes' walk to 2 subway stations. Walk 15 minutes to Myeongdong. Much room for improving the cleanliness, the stain on bed sheets, the cups and utensils....."
HOTEL BLISS Myeongdong
"The front desk staff are kind and the room is clean with modern appliances. The hotel is conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from Myeongdong Station, and there's a convenience store right next door. While the shower and toilet are combined and it's not a luxurious stay, it's perfectly sufficient if you're just looking for a place to sleep."
Hotel DM ★★★
"This hotel is a 5-minute walk from Dongmyo Subway Station, Exit 3. The room was clean, and they provided tea bags and coffee daily. There's a microwave and a hot/cold water dispenser in the hallway, and a 7-Eleven downstairs. To the left of the hotel entrance, there's a BBQ restaurant. On our first night, we paid 125,000 won for three cuts of meat, a bottle of soju, a beer, and two bowls of rice. Later, we found similar items cost around 80,000 won in Myeongdong, which shows quite a price difference."
K-Guesthouse Dongdaemun Premium 2 ★★
"honestly a little deceiving. at first glance from the listing images, the room size seems adequate and looks pretty clean. upon arrival, the room is so tight that we cant even open our luggage in the room. a lot of other luggages were stored outside in a common area infront of the reception with people just opening their luggage in the open with no privacy. reception was also pretty bad running from 12pm to around 6pm? we heard neighours other guests complaining to when they checked in. room cleanliness was horrible, stains on bed sheets, towels, pillow case. the roof was patched everywhere probably from previous cases of water leakage? toilet was extremely moldy, actually the whole room was filled with mould not just the toilet but was far worse in the toilet. overall 1.5/10, 1 point for location being at a very centre location nearby to ddp and the subway and 0.5 points for affordable pricing. but you could probably get much better at a slightly higher price or further location. would not recommend for those with weak stomach and clean freaks. thankfully national service prepared me for this lol"
New Chonji Hotel ★★★
"Overall good, not a busy area, walking distance to Gwangjang market. There will be no air conditional during winter, so room without window will be quite stuffy. Vending machine for snack, coffee machine, microwave, hot water available at reception. Can store luggage before checkin and after checkout."

The Grand Lotte Seoul (Formerly: Lotte Hotel Seoul)
"It's refurbished, but clean, and the price isn't high, so it's still reasonable. However, it's probably best to stay elsewhere for the first few days and then move to Lotte when you're ready to shop, as it's very convenient. The most important thing is to bring cash, as you *must* use a card. I didn't have a credit card, so I had to scramble for cash."

Nouvelle Hotel and Spa Seoul Jongro by Aank
"Although not spacious, it was clean and the bedding was comfortable. Some amenities were missing, but the staff kindly took care of it."
Hotel Park Habio
"Booked this hotel for a KSPO concert, and it was incredibly close and convenient. If the weather's good, you can even have a picnic at Olympic Park. The environment is lovely and comfortable. Highly recommend it for those on a tight schedule or doing a 'special forces' type trip!"
Ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Myeong-Dong
"Compact, functional, clean room, great location at myeongdong. Good value for the price of the room. Wld recommend!"
Roynet Hotel Seoul Mapo
"Though the train station is not that close, we love this location a lot. It is not touristy and have bus options as well. The hotel is very clean and the facilities are great. We will consider this on our next Seoul Trip."
ABC Hostel Seoul
"Changed 3 beds in 2nights and the last night someone was at my bed. The rude staff changed my bed to another bed. And in the morning right after I woke up, someone came to my bed and confronted me that I took their bed. The management of the hostel really need to organise themselves. And no hot water when showering, I have to come out of the shower halfway, half naked and cold trying to ask for help. FOR WOMEN, no privacy, the shower door bathing area is inside the mixed common area. If the door is open, everyone could see you."
Hotel Gracery Seoul
"Although I didn't see many reviews for this hotel on Xiaohongshu, it was relatively cheaper during the Dragon Boat Festival compared to other hotels around Myeongdong, and the double rooms were larger than those near other commercial areas. It's a Japanese-style hotel, popular with many Japanese guests. Check-in and check-out are done via self-service machines, and staff are available to assist if needed – the service attitude is excellent. The bathroom has a bathtub and toiletries, so you only need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. The room also provides bath salts and eye masks. The soundproofing is very good. Right outside the hotel, there's a small CU convenience store, a Starbucks, and a food street, so dining out was very convenient. It's about a 10-minute walk to Shinsegae Department Store, Myeongdong, or the subway station. There's also an Olive Young on the way to the subway station. The best part is that the Incheon Airport limousine bus stops right on the street outside the hotel, making travel to and from the airport incredibly convenient. I would definitely choose this hotel again – highly recommended! Chinese people don't lie to Chinese people!"
Seoul Garden Hotel
"Strategic location. Airport Limousine bus stop just 1min walk from the hotel. Eateries and OY shop are just opposite or at the same street with hotel."
