Find 5-Star Hotels in Seoul

We booked a triple room under residents and was happy with the facilities. Well equipped with water dispenser (which is my favourite), washer cum dryer, utensils etc. Room size was also super great for 3 persons, 8 luggages, and yet sufficient space to move around. Lots of wardrobe too. Location is super good, 3 mins walk to airport bus bus stop, 5-6 mins walk to DDP & train station. Near to Gwangja Market, Myeongdong. The toilet is huge too. Definitely preferred and recommended hotel if i revisit again. The only cons if they can fostered the shower & toilet glass door so that both can be used at the same time.

Spending a night in a room fully decorated with Cinnamoroll—would it be worth it? I expected it would be, and so I booked the Cinnamoroll character room at Novotel Suites Ambassador Yongsan. My child was even happier than I had imagined, and we were able to enjoy a truly relaxing time together. The swimming pool was a bit small, but since there weren’t many people at the time we used it, we were able to enjoy a peaceful swim. The food package included in the Cinnamoroll room package was perfect for our hungry post-swim time. It tasted great and came with pizza, steak, salad, and drinks—an excellent combination. However, despite booking for two adults and one child, the room was only prepared for two people in terms of towels, slippers, and bottled water. That lack of attention to detail was a bit disappointing. Also, the robe and plush toy provided as part of the Cinnamoroll amenities weren’t packed in anything, which made them inconvenient to carry. It would be great if the hotel could consider things more from the guest's perspective.

Hotel location was decent, near to very good restaurants. I loved the staff’s hospitality- they really went above and beyond when we needed to change our rooms due to a drain issue, and with help from the front desk on booking a romantic dinner with the wife. Gym was huge and complete! And there’s a beautiful pool as well. Would recommend!

Hotel was great in many sense - location just next to City Hall station - enthusiastic, helpful bellboys who would take the initiative to help - very clean rooms, large bathroom - view of the City Hall from my room was great - my room didn't have enough space to open luggage bags on the floor unless you move away the heavy chairs There was just one thing I couldn't understand. I arrived at the hotel at about 2.50pm. They told me that check in time is 3pm. So I thought maybe we can do the registration first, but get the keys at 3pm, which is what other hotels do when I've arrived earlier than the check in time. But I was told that they can only start processing the registration at 3pm. As we checked out on NYE, the hotel was fully booked, so they were not able to allow us late check out even by an hour. But this, I can understand.

The hotel is very nice with a great gym and pool for swimming. The location is pretty remote and it takes you 30 min by foot to next subway station. There is an airport shuttle bus, where you also can reach the subway but this bus only operates until 3pm which is pretty early ending. The hotel has several restaurants, serving different styles of food, but it’s pretty expensive. The room interior is a bit aged already with lots of scars, so I don’t think it’s worth the equivalent of 200 dollar per night. But I liked that the room had a washing machine!

Everything was perfect. We really enjoyed staying here. The place was really cool, the food were very delicious, rooms were very great although the standard room was not super spacious, but the view was really beautiful. The location is really near the mall and lotte world. It’s really easy to find anything here. Will come back here again for sure.

great gym! very wide and airy, loved the stretching room. breakfast buffet was sumptious! so was the dinner buffet. the restaurant staff are the best. i hd noisy neighbors though but thanfully they settled down around midnight. stayed for 3nights, will book here again when i return

If taking subway you can head to exit 10 of jamsil station and you can go through the lotte world mall before street level, head straight, take the escalator next to the aquarium up, exit the main doors and cross the road to the left for the hotel. (It it not sheltered/ connected directly between the mall/ station and hotel). We took the side entrance lift up to the reception but if you go further down you’ll see the main car drop off and concierge. The staff service was really friendly, although at the check in reception we were given a list of rules and asked if we had any questions, so the hotel vibe felt quite formal and stiff. Was concerned about the rules on the swimming pool booking and bringing outside food in, but the staff around were kind and welcoming so we soon felt at ease. Was able to rent the required swim cap free of charge. Room was classy, spacious and bed and bath comfortable. We booked the lake view room but one can only see it at the side when nearer to the windows. We had indicated we were celebrating our wedding anniversary but there were no special greetings in the room or wishes at reception, which normally hotels would as part of their hospitality. The lake view from breakfast and the pool was beautiful! Heard it would be even more beautiful in spring! We enjoyed walking around the lake and exploring the restaurants on the other side. Great shopping location next to the lotte mall The swimming pool is small with one lane for laps and others for relaxing. There’s a heated jacuzzi outside and within the beautiful changing area was also has a hot bath and another neat amenities. The gym was huge and had so many machines! All in all a great and beautiful stay! Wish we stayed longer than one night! The only con is that you have the transfer lifts at the reception level each time you go out or in so you’ll just have to meet and greet a lot of people along the way.

Stayed 5 nights, room no. 1520. The pros are location, near the subway station and the hotel has a shuttle bus to get you there. The view from the room is good, facing the Nan Shan. The out room jacuzzi is fantastic The service from the front door and facilities are good especially the front door staff called ”Dustin Lee”, he behaved professionally and friendly which made me feel I really was a guest in your hotel. The Cons: The room was a bit shabby and outdated, also the closet couldn't close properly. The hotel lobby will always be crowded as different kinds of people get there, which annoys me. Also, I had a worse experience at my check-out, the receptionist asked me if it was okay with my stay, I said the lobby was crowded and chaotic which made me feel uncomfortable, but she said she didn't know what is ”chaotic”, I don't know what that means and I spelt to her, she behaved a bit cool and unfriendly, and the concierge staff next to her told her what is ”chaotic”, I think she is unprofessional and a bit rude. Also, last Saturday morning(22nd Feb), a couple took some wedding photos in the hotel lobby, and all the guests couldn't cross the lobby to the front door, I understand that it was the most memorable day for them, but the lobby is for all hotel guests, which may be made all hotel guests feel uncomfortable and inconvenient, I think the management should have done some arrangement for that to minimize the situation like that. Overall my stay was so-so, hope next time stay will be better as we go to Seoul quite often.

Service was amazing, warmly greeted by all the staff! No issue with cleanliness other than a weird smell in the bathroom but the cleaners attended to it quickly. We were lucky to get a good view from our room, and lucky to experience snow during my stay there. Food and desserts were perfect. They had a cash currency exchange machine at the lobby that couldn’t accept overseas cards. Location wise, its 15mins walk to the station, Airport express stops directly at this hotel. Just pay to the driver. Really convenient for this one, about 1hr30mins to Incheon Airport.
